Stu, I agree with your original post to a certain degree...but only a certain degree. I don't think fans will who pay a lot of money to watch matches go there not wanting to back the team (for me I wake up in the middle of the night, sacrifies my valuable sleeping time to support the team I supported since early 70s on pay TV). I also don't agree to your notion that fans causes the team of the past 12 years failing to win the league. These players are paid £40,000 ~ £60,000 per week to perform at the highest level (more than what most of us will earn in one year...yeah that's 52 weeks stu). If they can't show their level of commitment, skill or self-motivation/confidence and need to be babied and be told what they did is great, then they should swap places with some of us fans. No doubt some of our players will walk into 90% of teams in the world but you are counting on leagues like Fiji, Maldives, Solomon Island etc. etc. where players are paid £50/month to play, so guess who is talking out of his @r5e?
The players we bought over the past 10 years have mostly been poor value for money, mediocre players at best with a few exceptions and the results reflect this facts. Don't blame the fans for the bad results. The bucks stops at the the board, incompetent managers that we had and the multi-millionaire babies that use this club to enrich themselves and live a lifestyle of superstar. Those of us who paid to watch the game, fans or not and demand results and flowing football. If we can influence the results just that easily, maybe we should be paid to watch the game and sign up to become life-long party menbers.
No doubt you will next blame this forum for causing the team's downfall. We should all start writing positive propaganda sh1t5 to motivate the players. Oh I forgotten, I am non-Liverpool born and bred so I should know 5h1t, and besides no ones but your own opinion counts...and I thought you were brought up in a democratic society.
