I will bet anyone this week £50 that thursday or friday, old Fergie will come out on Sky sports News with those old mind games accusing Liverpool of possibly fielding a weakend side V chelsea to spite them.

Any money.

He lives on Sky sports news press conferences.

T*ss handle.

id play lucas in goal, a back four of plessis, babel, aquilani and insua. mid reina, kelly, ayala, pacheco, up front ngog and carra.

Carra cant score neither can ngog. In fact i hope carra heads a couple into his own goal. like he did against the mancs earlier in his career.

Could just see Mctaggart and rat boy crying in the ginger ninja's shoulder whilst giggs is having his roots done. Magic. I hope i dream of that tonight. :D

I would love Rafa again if he fields Lucas and Kuyt against Chelsea and rest Gerrard for the European Coca Cola final unless Spurs/ManCity lost their 36th game.

I think the FA would come down on us like a tonne of bricks if we play an obviously weakened side. Might get away with Gerrard on the bench and maybe one of Carra or Agger left out, but I think we must at least pretend like we want to win it.

If Chelsea play like they did yesterday I think it won't matter how or who we play, maybe if we go out and out for the win and leave space at the back is the best way to go. If it is a draw with less than 20 minutes to go then we mustn't sit on it, but then I wonder how much Rafa thinks the way the fans do. He is probably so wrapped up in his own bubble, thinking how he can mastermind a late bid for fourth or win the EDL or win the league next season, I doubt he's even considered throwing the game.

All he needs to do is go with his instincts and Chelsea have the title in the bag

Come on Chelsea :buttrock

5-0 just to rub it in with Carra to score 3 own goals. :D

WE've been krap all season, this better not be the one good performance we put in.

hopin sundyland perform miracles b4 we play chelski. if (remote as it is) we hav a chance of 4th then we hav to go for it, but if its gone then we think bigger picture. how ironic would it be for a crazy deflection to rob that scum of the title.....

i still remember blackburn, an how west ham did for them that time. remember Kenny's face when told they'd won the prem.... an that guy in th Anfield Road thinkin they were done for when Redknapp's free went in, only to hear the score from bubble-land.... summat like that'd do me, win-win!! :p
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

i can't believe that any true liverpool fan would want us to not win a game under any circumstances, even if it does mean that lot winning number 19.

i personally think sunderland will get a point against united anyway, especially if rooney is out.

Eh, gotta disagree there Niall....Much as I hate the Scum, I really don't want to see us lose to Chavski....they're only marginally less detestable than the Scum

To me they should both kick off simultaneously.

Then of course, depriving sly sports of their w@nkathon would be out of the f*cking question.  :glare:

Spurs/City/Villa play on the Saturday. Wins for any of them would leave us needing a full and proper miracle to claim fourth spot. Beating Chelsea wouldn't then be so appealing.

we should definitely not intentionally lose... it's not an honorable thing to do... prioritizing the Europa match is another thing... but whichever team lines up against Chelsea, they should play to win...

We are not going to get 4th, that died yonks back, and even losing to Chelsea wont stop us scraping into the Europa because of Portsmouth problems. People say you should not want your team to lose but its one game against us being stripped of the historic honour of 18 titles.Furthermore its our arch rivals taking it away. The afternoon is one 90 min match against Chelsea, a team that can save our past and preserve our history for one more year at least. The payoff is we want them to beat us. I think its worth it, very much so, every time. It doesnt make you not a real fan, it means you cherish holding the record weve held on to for so very long.Preserving that is worth far far more than a victory against Chelsea and for 3 points that wont matter to us.
