Boys.... play nice.....

lets not degrade let another thread... drawn a line under whats gone above and start again.

THIS IS NOT A THREAD TO DISCUSS RAFA BENITEZ OR HIS MISGIVENS.

This is a thread to discuss how we move forward next season, given the assumption that Rafa is still here

Read the opening post and comment on the questions asked if you wish to

If we accept that there are numerous weaknesses in the squad and that we don't have the finances to plug all the gaps this summer.  And let's say that Benitez starts next season as manager, then what realistically would you do this summer in terms of strengthening the team?

Claw your way back!!!
ffs How long do you think weve been clawing our way back now?
Fergie soon turned utd around

Simples. New manager. Get King Kenny in for the last quarter to drive some team spirit into the players. The Kop would certainly respond with Kenny in charge again.

Real Madrid lose to Lyon, obvious job for Benitez in my opinion - a wealth of cash to waste.

What's the point?

Every thread in this place ends up coming back to Benitez, it's pathetic.

I think it would be a bit unfair to bring Kenny in with the team in this state. Plus he has been out of the game so im not sure if he would be up to the task. It almost seems too easy to think that Kenny coming back will suddenly make the team play better.

Anyway in regards to the topic I think we should look to secure a few more players on a free. Sell Babel, Riera and Skrtel. Get a new CB in and someone who can play in the middle and on the wings. We have that Jovanovich sorted and on top of that it could be a good time to start blooding Pachecho into the squad.

Anyone who insults our current manager by calling him and "idiot", a "waiter" or a "clown"  or something along those lines is deserving of an instant yellow card IMO. It's bang out of order to read such sh*te on a supposed LFC supporters forum. That is all.

:nod  :nod

Feel free to question whether he's the right man for the job but surely on a Liverpool forum our current manager deserves to be treated with respect. Insults like those are embarrassing and belong on a manc forum.

If only we could have one thread that didn't debate the merits / shortcomings of rafa and focussed on the topic in hand   :Oo:

How on earth can you, given the complete mess we are in think that you can have a topic about how to fix the current sides shortcomings without expecting the manager who is responsible for the mess not getting a mention.
Personally I find the prospect of him being in charge for the rest of the season depressing never mind debating who he should buy to sort out his own fk ups!

You see I don't understand that accusation, if he was a glory hunter then surely he would be supporting Man Utd wouldn't he. Why would a glory hunting fan support Liverpool who haven't won the league in 20 years, I've never understood that.
