The Board know how the fans feel. The whole country knows how the fans feel.

I'm not sure what you can realistically expect a petition to do that isn't already being done.

As Greenred says its a added bit of pressure.
Everyone is entitled to do what they want, whoever doesnt want to sign it fair enough its up to them?
Hopefully someone at Liverpool FC may view this site and see what we think.

oh thats a mighty list. Tell me please what you expect to do with this list, present it to dave moores and go "look i told you so 19 people on an internet forum think houllier should leave, march into his office right now and tell him he's history". Basically mate we have no power espescially with an internet petition. A petition is pointless, if you want to even stand a chance of beeing succesfull then go around liverpool and try and organize a proper protest. 19 people who signed a petition on the internet will mean f##k all to anyone on the liverpool board and nor should it. I will not sign your petition for the above reason and that i believe in standing by the man in charge.

Its 19 and rising, every bit counts.
So sitting here and accepting it is going to make everything okay is it?
If we all show our discontent by boycotting games and refusing to cheer the team on and the board will HAVE get the message and give the manager the boot.
If you stand by the man we have in charge at the moment it makes it clear that you dont want the club to succeed because I promise you it isnt going to happen under Houllier.

Roberts

so your gonna not cheer your own team, mate thats pretty perfetic. If you were a real fan you'd stand by the team at all times :p

Sorry Columbia but I disagree with that.
I have stuck with the team for 12 years and in that time we have been complete sh##e and Manchester United(they are our biggest rivals if you didnt know) have dominated for most of that time while we have endured endless slumps and failures.
I am not a glory hunter I just think it is time to start seeing results, I will watch the team again once I see a change in manager and a high profile manager with a good track record gets appointed, and then when we are willing to make a effort to at least challenge for the title with a new manager i will watch them again, that is hardly  glory hunting.
Besides they are 27 people and counting who agree with me.

I agree Roberts...i mean its terrible to watch the team we love play soooo sh##e! Thats why we cant watch becos it HURTS!
Its a bit like a relaationship with a beautiful woman..and she meets a frenchman and he treats her well but she lacks direction and stops trying..and he friends laff at her...and he wastes her life savings on sh##e! who could watch such a sorry story week in week out...

      :(
Q: You're trapped in a room with a tiger, a rattlesnake, and a Manchester United Fan. You have a gun with two bullets. What should you do?

A: Shoot the United Fan. Twice.

Thanks Supermarius at least you understand my reasons for not watching the games, I dont do it for spite I do it because it hurts to watch the team that represents our great city play so sh##e.  The reality is the players who are to blame wont suffer the consequences they will be starting a new life with a clean sheet at a different club while us the fans will be picking up the pieces.
