Hooray parry is off

I just watched the full interview with Rafa. When questioned about it, Rafa had no good things to say about Parry, just that they had a good working relationship and that was it.

From his body language I would infer that he was not upset by Parry leaving. That is my opinion though.

He probably signed a deal not to do one, but if Parry ever wrote a book based on his Liverpool experiences I wouldn't mind a wee look at that.

The fans hate Hicks, Parry and Gillette hate Hicks and not to long ago Hicks seemed to hate Rafa. I seem to remember him telling Rafa to shut his gob and concentrate on football and also criticised the team after we lost to Man Utd last year. Rafa still has a lot of power at the club due to many fans being vehemently loyal to him and Hicks knows this is a powerful tool to have on his side.

Parry is now out of the way and Gillette has been looking for a buyer for his share of the club for some time. If that happens before the end of the season I wouldn’t be surprised if Hicks refused to give Rafa new contract and Rafa decided to walk.

I still think that Hicks may be working towards a situation where Rafa walks in the summer. This means he could have a free hand over the club and because Rafa walked rather than being pushed he wouldn’t get the same level of criticism from the fans so could continue as Chairman.

It looks as though Hicks will gain major control over the club in the next few months and it will be quite interesting to see in which direction he is going to take the club and whether Rafa is still his new best friend.

Do you really think that Hicks gives a sh1t what the fans think of him?

I find it a bit ironic that the same people who laud "The Liverpool way" are the same that criticise Parry. I'll be the first to admit he has made mistakes but I do think he has always had the interests of the club as top priority and has conducted himself in a dignified way, I've only met him once, at a hospitality thing with CARLSBERG :D ,  and he seemed like a really nice guy,a bit boring but a nice guy. It will be interesting to see who Hicks now brings in and how long it will take for Rafa, and therefore by default most of you lot, too start criticising and blaming him for any failures.

I also find it hilarious how some of you seem to think that you, as fans, had any influence on Parry going. Oh the arrogance is strong amongst some on here.  :wwww  :wwww
Do you really think that because Parry has gone it is more likely that Hicks will leave??

So, to counterweight mistakes in signing ups and anniversaries you use the powerful fact that he was nice to you in a protocolary event, in which his work was being nice with guys like you. Mind you he was probably boring to you because he was bored as fúck of saying hello to guys like you who means nothing to him. :D

From that, you claim that he has conducted himself in a dignified way and his top priority has been the club, with no other points to back that claiming than he was nice with you in a protocolary visit.

And to top it off, you deem hilarious and arrogant those on the other side of the debate.

And you'll still wonder why you are insulted  . Look there are many kinds of insults, insulting is not only about words like twát or idiot. You can insult with actions too, and your answer is an insult itself.

P.S. Clearly we have the "The Enemies of Rafa are my Friends" syndrome around here. I wonder what's next. Perhaps defending Ferguson from Rafa's attacks. Hold on a minute...

Since this has been one of the problems in the past, Toffee, it's only fair to expect what you are requesting.

I agree.

You are turning nasty amigo, what exactly is your problem? You deliberately twist everything I say to suit your pathetic needs to support Espania. I'm sure Parry was tired of meeting people at hospitality events, I don't blame him for that and I agree that I'm probably not that important to him but why attack me so nastily Sabre, trying to belittle me, do you really hate me that much?

BTW congratulations on again choosing to attack me in a childish and hurtfull manner instead of answering any of my questions, you're almost as good at that as GYBS or your hero and idol Lando.

It's been a problem according to Rafa, funny how you guys believe all rumours that support Rafa but attack anybody who believes rumours against Rafa. It's called double standards Sabre and you are one of the finest exponents of it, no actually I take that back you are no where near as good as GYBS.

For my part, I'm surprised that people see the departure of the chief exuctive as being overly significant to how successful we are or aren't going to be in the transfer market. Much more significant in terms of Rafa's contract negotiations and the rest, is the apparent breakdown in relationships between the academy and the powers that be with the first team. If Parry leaving improves that situation, then that'll be something quite significant.

As for the transfers though, if you are going to go out and spend 7 million quid on the likes of Dossena, it doesn't really matter who is CEO as far as I'm concerned.

Ive read the whole thread and have not once seen anyone say they had influence on parry leaving  ??? The one that forced him out was Hicks with probably some influence of Rafa not a member of Newkit.

Who me??? Am I not allowed to defend myself, when  so many w@nkers on here call me silly names, even geriatric old biddys who find it oh so funny to continually take the p1ss and continue to spell my name wrong all the f'ing time. I've had it up to here, I really have, I have always been respectful to people on this forum and what do I get in return, vicious attacks, childish insults and people telling me to go and kill myself. I can tell you one thing that over time it gets very depressing and annoying but I will continue to say my opinion and not change my opinion from game to game like certain stained people.
There are a lot of good people on this forum, including ones I don't agree with but there are a hell of a lot of nasty cruel people on here as well and it's getting very unpleasant these days. I just want a place where I can discuss the team that I love but it's getting harder and harder by the day, and just when I'd want the mods to maybe help me out they all fecking turn on me as well with even more childish taunts.

We shall see but I bet parrys son will be out of his job at the academy at the end of the season.
