Really, when looked back on, this is a massive f*ck you to the press and bookies. How embarrassed they must feel right now that Benitez still has his job and that it was actually Slick Rick that walked...erm...got pushed...whatever. Even though it's just a guess, but I'd hazard one for thinking that this all had to do with the Keane saga. It's clearly cost Parry his position at the club and rightly so if this is the case. Either resign and save face, or get sacked for losing money.

the 2pm thing was at 1pm (sorry i forgot the 1hr time zone thing , the news thread was from france)
It was just Rafa on the exit and our next game, they were also give a news sheet from parry that Said he had had 12 great years at the club and was proud of what he had done, i think there is also a vide that was taken of him at the time.

About 6 years overdue.

Many were calling for his head as far back as the Houllier era. He was specifically tasked by David Moores to increase revenues and bring investment to the club (Granada) and made a balls of both.
