High - Gerrards injury time goal against West Ham

Low - losing world cup final (was that January 06?) I am still gutted that we should have been world champions for the first time in history.

High - SG goal in FA Cup Final

Low - 3 nil at Goodison
Also, the way those corrupt Ities reduced the points penalty on Fiorentina, Reggina and BLEEDING AC Milan being allowed to get into the Champs League.

A complete fucking fiddle - they shouldn't be in this year's CL - simple as.

My personal high avoids the obvious entries that have come before this. For me it was the trip to Cardiff for the Community Shield. Once again, Cardiff was a sea of Red and that day we really put Chelsea's fans to shame. Their turnout was simply diabolical and we were full of hope for the game as we were showing off a few of our new signings. Well worth the trip just to see the 'Cream of Carragher' banner (those that went know exactly what I mean!). On the ale as soon as I got there (although, 2 of the lads got on the ale at 9am!) and was an absolute quality day which, for my shame ended up sh!tfaced in Bootle!  :D

The low for me had to be Benfica at home. Everyone was expecting a decent result for us considering we played well at Benfica only to come away with nothing. The Kop was in boisterous mood, but Simao and co soon put paid to that. I was absolutely gutted coming out of the ground that night as I felt it was a result that shouldn't of been - pretty much the same way I felt when we played Leverkusen and got KO'ed.

Roll on 2007 and more highs!!!!  :buttrock

The lowpoint is obviously Phil's battle and subsequent passing. No contest in that.

The highpoints - FA Cup final, Semi and Quater. Always good to beat scum and Sh*tski on the way to the best final in history.

For me, though, it's the return of God. I never, ever thoght I'd see him in the red shirt again, but fo it to vome true was out of this World, and definately a late Christmas present from Rafa. :D

Yep. Infact, he scored twice, and Mori scored one of the goals we expected from him - a lovely little bit of footwork and bent it into the corner.
