He was absolutely fantastic for us and it was a really sad day for Liverpool and football as a whole when he left. When he came back, I was buzzing, he may not be the Robbie of old but he will never lose his cult status ever. And he derserves it.  That was my highlight of 2006.

good point.

i still remember the day he came back. it was almost surreal. i don't think robbie himself could quite believe it to be honest.

he's still got a great deal to offer. not as much as he used to but he's still far and away the best finisher at the club. infact he's probably the best finisher i've ever seen in my lifetime.

:bowdown

did you never see ian rush?, st michael...

it would be a hard call to make who is better finisher, but rush one on one with a kepper was always only one outcome

Fowler was my time, Rush was just before so I'd go for Robbie every time, for sure. I am fully aware of what a great finisher Rush was for us, but I am sure Robbie would edge it in my peoples hearts. He is a Liverpool legend, the funny thing is, he was at 23!

Highs- Robbie's return, beating the mancs in the cup, beating the bitters after Gerrards sending off and of course winning the FA cup.

Lows- Benfica, both defeats 2 the mancs (seriously i f
ucking hate them), losin 3-0 2 the bitters and McKenzies comments last month. I don't care if it's nothin 2 do with this topic, i wish he was dead, simple as that.

high-fa cup victory and gerrards screamer

low-losing to the mancs this season was hard to take, and to the blues.*i*e but against the mancs it was different, we didnt show an ounce of courage or desire to get back into the game when we went 1 down, at least against the blues.*i*e we tried until the very end.

Speaking as one who goes the match, personally I would say the Cup final was amazing.

Losing at United and Everton remain level pegging at the bottom of the list.
