Even if you are not his biggest fan at the moment the man deserves to be treated better and if he is not going to get it from his so called managers maybe the people that vreally count should like you said come out and show our feelings

i dont think that it will help, the thing is 'we love rafa' is great if we was at the top of the table and looked like a good team, right now we look like a team trying to stay in the top 7.

If Moores (and that clown Parry) really love the club then why aren't they speaking out against all this cr.ap in the press? This is not the Liverpool way, they do not deserve to own us and Morres especially (as Parry has to pay for his timeshares) should be speaking up in support of the club and the fans. He has the power to force their hand into selling, if a figurehead (maybe Kenny or Rushie should step up) could come out then the fans will support them into making the yanks consider their roles at the club. We don't want 2000 fans walking in support of Rafa (as nice as that was), we need 30,000+ staying outside the ground whilst the game is on to show the yanks we mean business. It may seem a bit hardline but we're only going one way at the moment and to demostrate during one game may show the yanks who really runs the club.

Looks like all those who thought the press has some agenda against the club and were making it all up were wrong.  The press have sources inside the club and were spot on.  This is no different to what happened at Spurs.  Rafa wont walk as he would be walking away from a contract however he will last till the end of the season at the latest.  His gone, no doubt about it!!

From .tv...

HICKS: WE SPOKE WITH KLINSMANN
Paul Eaton 14 January 2008

Tom Hicks today admitted the club's owners held a meeting with Jurgen Klinsmann over the possibility of becoming the next manager of Liverpool - but that Rafa Benitez can now count on the full backing of both chairmen.

Hicks and George Gillett sounded out the German about taking over in the Anfield hot-seat if Rafael Benitez left the club.

"In November, when it appeared we were in danger of not advancing in the Champions League, weren't playing well in our Premier League matches, and Rafa and we were having communication issues over the January transfer window, George and I met with Jurgen Klinsmann to learn as much as we could about English and European football," he explained.

"He is a very impressive man. We attempted to negotiate an option, as an insurance policy, to have him become our manager in the event Rafa decided to leave our club for Real Madrid or other clubs that were rumoured in the UK press, or in case our communication spiralled out of control for some reason.

"After George and I had our long and productive meeting with Rafa following the Man United match, we put all of our issues behind us and received Rafa's commitment that he wanted to stay with Liverpool.

"We never reached agreement on an option with Jurgen, and we are both pleased for him that he has a great opportunity to return to Germany and coach a great club team.

"Rafa has both of our support, and our communication has greatly improved.

"Foster, Rick Parry and Rafa now have regular meetings at Melwood on Monday mornings.

"The two families always try to have a telephonic meeting on Monday afternoons, so we all are on the same page. We all want to win more games."

---------------

Given the incendiary nature of these revelations, I can't believe that the half-a*sed vote of confidence comes below talk of super-impressive Jurgen on our official website. Botched doesn't even begin to describe how they've managed this.

so funny to see the Yanks try and act like this is all normal and how things are ok now.  I dont care what they say, they dont want Rafa and just need an excuse to sack him.  Finishing 4th will be that excuse.

Yeah and Freddie Shepherd's going to buy us off the Yanks!! He's happy to buy every player in Europe for inflated prices- his first move would be to offer 30m for Owen as a gift to us!!  :D
