Posting a picture of a burning American flag?
If that's the case then all those fanatics in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and Syria must be geniuses then.

Exactly what is Tom Hicks' game?
The Liverpool co-owner has come out with some interesting stuff in his time at Anfield, but his latest comments about Jurgen Klinnsman not only take the biscuit, but scoff the whole packet, then another packet bought to replace the first one.
For anyone that may have missed his word in the Liverpool Echo's ear, here they are again:
"We attempted to negotiate an option, as an insurance policy, to have him [Jurgen Klinsmann] become manager if Rafa left for Real Madrid or other clubs that were rumoured in the UK press.
"Or in case our communication spiralled out of control for some reason."
What possible reason could there be for Hicks to announce this?
There are two real possibilities; either he knows exactly what he is doing and is playing a sly game with Benitez, or he genuinely has no concept of how football works and has a thumping case of foot-in-mouth disease.
The former option is most likely, but even that seems massively counter-productive.
By announcing this when he has absolutely no positive reason for doing so, he can only be looking to put pressure on his mutinous manager.
And why would he want to do that? Liverpool have a passionate, often supportive but always demanding fanbase, and they do quite enough to pressure any manager without any of the suits getting involved.
It is just possible that Hicks and partner George Gillett have already decided that this season is a write-off, and that they're trying to ease Benitez out?
By announcing that they have essentially offered Benitez's job to someone else while he is in situ, they have at best undermined him and at worst given Benitez a perfect excuse to resign.
Even the wording of the statement suggests he is up to no good.
For a start, what sort of chairman/owner bases their managerial decisions on reports in the press? Why would a man who has rubbished newspaper rumours in the past, suddenly become so panicked about a bit of massively ill-informed tittle-tattle that he goes straight out and taps up another manager?
It smacks of the flimsiest of excuses from the Americans.
The second part of his reasoning is also loaded with meaning - "In case our communication spiralled out of control for some reason."
'For some reason'? How can someone talk about that in the abstract with a straight face?
What could that possibly be, other than the thinnest of thinly-veiled warnings to Benitez to hush up and stop carping in the press? "We can replace you like that Rafa, pipe down."
Whatever the hell they are up to, this proves that Hicks and Gillett are not good for Liverpool. If they want rid of Benitez, they should sack him, not play such ludicrous games.
Whatever you think about Mike Ashley and Chris Mort, they didn't f**k around at Newcastle. They decided that Sam Allardyce wasn't the man they wanted, and they sacked him.
As long as this sort of uncertainty hangs around Liverpool, they will never reach the glories of years past.

rafa and the players should take some flak
Hicks and Gillette, have given Rafa a lot of money, and are expecting results!
A lot of money? Are you stoned? practically all they gave was 20 million for Torres and the rest was generated through sales of other players. Contrary to what the press tells us, Torres did not cost us 26 million or whatever it was reported to be, I can't remember the amount.
Those two b@stards have generated an ill atmosphere at the club that's obviously having some sort of effect on the manager and players. They lied to us when the promised the Earth for the club, and told us that Rafa was their man for the job. They promised almost any player Rafa desired, and when Rafa came knocking, what did they do? Practically told the man to f*ck off. So f*ck them and f*ck anyone who takes their side or even tries to understand where they are supposedly coming from.

Silly post boy. Rafa's had plenty o' cash be jeysus.
10m for Babel?
Arbeloa X- Millionsss
Voronin- free ok
Benayoun?
plus previous seasons:
Kuyt
Alonso
Agger
Pennant
Crouch
garcia
bellamy
and many more
Rafa has had the cash, i just wish he would stop coming out and saying "my players played well, we controlled the game," when we were poor. they are Houllier type comments.
He should have dealt Kuyt for 8m and bought Owen back right now while the window is open. Owen is the 20+ a season real deal.
The fist half V Boro was the WORST I have ever seen LFC play.
At the start of the season, we DID genuinly have a chance of winning the league. but Mr. Tinkerman, had he not made 5/6/8 changes every GAME! then how can the side be settled!
Babel's confidence must be shot.Hot young talent, he should be playing up front, or starting every game.
As for the owners, they dont have a magic wand, and had a lot on their plate when taking over:
1. they had to settle the clubs 80m or so debt!
2. They had to make funds available to the manager.
3. They had to fund a 300/ 400m stadium
So lay off will you, you die hards.
I say, Gary Megson in the summer.

I wonder why they are burning american flags tho? U ever wonder that? Not everyone happens to like what that flag stands for, or the american brand of imperialism that they seem to want to force on the world..... so maybe u shouldnt insulting their intelligence and maybe think why they arent actually liked...America is very rarely a victim....as anyone in Latin America will tell you....
MP it was a joke, just leave it now Ive deleted the flag although at tommorrow nights game plenty will be getting burned around Anfield..
