Your goalkeeper might as well sleep, lets face it he only be following the 15,000 N. Ireland fans.

You know thinking about it international football is unfair.  When I was a kid we always give weaker teams a few goals up.  If England give us 5 up I think we could see one of the best games of football ever.

Puddy I don't think that's fair How could england have a superiority complex, need I remind you all that the last Home international championship  IE Scotland,Wales, England and N. Ireland was won by us.  We are the riegning Champions.  That means that from the four oldest footballing Associations in the world N. Ireland are the best.  Every other match or fixture played since the suspension of the home internationals means nothing because we still hold the trophy.  We the Northern Irish team are therefore superior.

Puddy mate, you're missing the point - at no point have I suggested England are a particularly great side so I for one don't feel burdened by a superiority complex. My point is that all the Wales/Scotland/Ireland etc fans who go around in Argentina shirts should spend a bit more time following their own sides than supporting whoever England are playing.  That is, of course, if they feel their own sides are worth following.

It'sthe reason Baros was dropped last year and again this year, because Michael Owen prefers to play with a big owff who won't steal his limelight.
