I really don't understand what all these managers see in Heskey, he works hard sometimes but thats it.

he'll do well at the brummies tho, a workhorse always does well there, and he is a workhorse and should do well

When heskey played against birmingham, he was a good player we dont need good players we need great players,

we signed kewell for 5m we can surely sign another starlet for that amount of money,

I still think Cisse is the wrong player for the club though,( hope he proves me wrong though!!!!!!!!

he has admittantly come out saying he cant use his left foot and cant head a ball!!!! mm something suspect there one thinks.

well scoring 26 goals in 37 games and not being able to use your head or left foot is very impressive!

cisse is a class act and would light up euro2004 had he not been suspended! he is the top scorer in france for the third season running, he will score a lot more goals than heskey and will take the pressure from owen, he will also contribute to owen scoring more as he is more direct than heskey and wont fanny about with the ball and fall over! :cool:

CISSE WILL BE BRILLAINT FOR LFC :cool:

rumours have quitened down about him i hope that doesnt mean the deal is off!

yeah i agree redtribe i hope the rumours start again about him he's a great player! but yet again we'll just get the usual (glass is half empty) people saying he is not good enough and go after someone else, just like cisse! just like dawson said a bit of optimism! for gods sake its not all doom n gloom at anfield think if we hadnt qualified for the champions league!
we are getting rid of heskey which is what all the glass is half empty people wanted!
and were getting some very exciting players in the summer!
also the likes of kewell finnan and kirkland will be like new signings next season cos they will have had a long summer break and be back to full fitness and firing on all cylinders come august!

I would have given him away on a free to save wages if it was the only way to get rid of him. £3.5m is great and to think we might get another £2.5m based on appearances (thankfully not goals).

It is not often I have something good to say about GH but at least he admitted his horrendous error and got rid of the donkey.

I don't care if he scores 30 goals next year for Birmingham, he'd never do it for LFC. He's a hero of the Stretford end.

I havent got anything against Heskey so I wish him good luck.

You could never accuse him of not trying and he always gave 100%. Some of the abuse he got was well over the top, in my opinion.

His goal scoring record wasnt exactly marvelous but how many times did he actually play up front? I would be interested to see his goals per game ratio when he was actually played as part of a conventional front two.

If i had to choose i would keep heskey and sell baros!
He always seems to look like a headless chicken when he comes on whereas emile gives his heart out.
I am sure he knew that he was off on saturday, yet he gave his all in a meaningless game. That`s Emile!
