Great scenes

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

everytime you see the celebrations on skysports news after the winner, the Kop looks like everyone has just lost it and is goin off their barnets. sends a shiver down me spine lookin at it, it looks like the "St.Etienne" celebrations. pure madness man, great scenes. think i'll just have skysports news on all day to watch it over and over.
its not the chilli sauce on kebabs that give you ring-sting, its the actual meat. had one without chilli, and still had ring-sting. the chilli's only there to mask the nonsense they stuff inside that bread.

spot on J M

was blinding to watch - and great to see all the supporters still in the ground 5 mins after the game had finished singing theit hearts out

almost like the old days
doesn't get anymore dramatic than that - for a spectacular finish

I'm still buzzin today

Agreed, great post Jim, i sit in the main stand and its been along time since it has been buzzing like that, theres nothin quite like the feelin and 3 other reds fallin on yer head from behind you and all you wanna do is hug anyone or anything thats near you, That was some buzz, i was gonna go out after it but i just walked home got some cans out and watched football first when it came on and watched it over and over again. Youll never walk alone after the final whistle sent shivers down me spine as did Fields of Anfield Road after Alonsos goal, things like that is wot makes Anfield wot it is and makes it more unique than any other club in the world.

P.S and i dont know if the players picked up any injures in the game but Mellor nearly made me snap me shin in half on the seat in front of me!!!
Chopper:Look, you're not still angry at me about the leg, are you?
Neville Bartos : Nah, forget about it.
Chopper : Because I don't know if you remember, Neville, but I had that bloody shotgun pointed at your head. I reconsidered and dropped it down to your kneecap. Remember?

I only seen it on TV but the place seems to have went nuts, as for me sitting at home, I live with an Arsenal supporter so we haven't really talked since, I was probably a bit over zealous in my celebrations! :D

I must give that commentator a clap on the back, how he got though that goal without a stream of expletives is beyond me :D

I don't know your circumstances as to why you couldn't be there mate and I don't want to judge anyone. However i think there are a lot of people who talk themselves out of getting tickets thinking it's too difficult but I disagree.

All too often there are those who prefer the so called "comfort" of the armchair and the 16 different SKY camera angles but as yesterday's game proved yet again there is simply NO comparison with being there.

The KOP went mental and there are few experiences that compare with the feeling when your actually there

Amoungst my TOP 10 memories of watching LFc and I've been fortunate and it must be said, prepared to make the sacrifices required to get to the games ............
