Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I think Carra came across as very honest and knows his limitations as a player and also where hes strong. You cant fault what hes done for the club at this point even though his best days are behind him, and he clearly knows that only too well. I note that the players appear to have more freedom and time for media stuff under the new regime and its refreshing. Fans want to hear what players think and these boys can do that job for us now. At 33 Carra will take it a day at a time and just enjoy it until he gets the call to the managers office and told its time up, no shame, no harm in that, comes to every player and hes had a hell of a career at Anfield.

without derailing the thread they said something along the lines of 'with another manager it might have worked out better'
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

its ok, just read the script

SG: He's a top player and we were gutted it didn't work out for him at Liverpool. We'd have liked him to have stayed around a bit longer. Maybe under a different manager it would have worked out.

If you'd watched the program you would have heard Carragher basically saying the same thing.

If we had more players with the drive and passion of Carra we woulda won the league a long time ago.

Dont think we would of won in Istanbul without Jamie, probably his best performance in a red shirt.

You find Carra annoying?

Well that post is a shoe-in for the category of "most ironic post of the year" award.

Bet no-one beats it.
