Currently we are on the same amount of points and games won as we did in Rafas first season with us - makes you think a little.

What are you talking about £150 million?? Most of that money came form players we sold, how much net spend have we had?

150 million is a whopping amount, what are you on about, nett spend is not relevant - being given 150 MILLION is.

Even if we do get £60 million for Suarez we'll p!ss it away buying half the Swansea team and various other average players.

Our owners are not terrible, a fair amount of money has been spent.
The transfer policy and lack of footballing people within our structure are the issues. IMO of course.

We're not seeing any short term improvement because we are spending all our money on young players and over relying on them instead of a blend of youngsters and experienced players.

Before we got Brendan Rodgers, this forum was very much against the idea of a DOF as "it does not work in the PL". But now its suddenly the answer to our problems.

Net spend is close to over £60mil.

More than all the other teams bar two in that period.

Our current owners have pretty much outspent all our previous owners.

Makes no difference where the money came from - its still been spent on players and the owners have authorised that spend.
