McClaren is the best Englishman for the job, fact.

When England have qualified in style, all you knee-jerk idiots will shut up.

Honestly, some fans are so reactionary it's frightening.

I don't know which Steve McClaren you've been watchiong, but it isn't the same one as the rest of us.

McClaren engineered a treble? Much as I hate the guy, Fergie has to take credit for that.

When England have qualified in style? Sorry mate, but the results we've already had mean it's now impossible for us to qualify in style.

Knee jerk idiots? If it wasn't for that comment I would've kept this reply polite, but as it is you can f#ck right off.

McClaren is paid 2.5 MILLION pounds a year and he's simply not up to the job.

I wish we could all be paid 2.5 million regardless of whether we're actually any good.

They have as much right to be proud to be from Andorra as you have to call yourself Basque and i do British mate!

You're right Barry.

I didn't mean that. I put it wrongly. What I meant is that they shouldn't play in the same league as a squad with long football tradition like northern ireland, because their level is not good enough.

Kettering town supporters are proud of their team for sure, but they can't play against LFC in the league unless they promote. With such crowded calendars as we have with so many mathes, Andorra shouldn't be playing England or N. Ireland for that matter.

As much as I hate Manu, the player England has needed in midfield is Scholes. He is more talented than any England player and can control a game in a way the SG cannot (SG has better "engine" though)

The fool Sven played Scholes as a left winger in Euro 04 so no surprise Scholes quit.

I said all this before the world cup but so many of you "hype believers" thought England had the best team in the world. It was unbelievable for peope who weren't involved in the world cup.

NOw some fools are calling for Beckham - yeah, the guy who never had a good tournament for England, and is now older and even slower and entering semi retirement in USA.

I think Gerrard needs to be more patient and not always be looking for the killer pass, shot on goal but just to keep possession a bit more - the way Alonso did when he first got here. That would improve him (and all players can improve)

I cant believe I watched 3 hours of cricket today!!

Unlucky Ireland, we were close :;):

What was the result Brendan?I could not watch that sport its painful.... :D

Healy scored the winner for Leeds against Preston tonight!! :buttrock

Fair enough wanting Healy to do well but cheering for Leeds is a bit much for a LFC fan.

It'd be like me cheering for John O'Shea when he plays for Manure.

I mean Leeds - come on mate, their fans are scumbags.
