Disclaimer-I'm not saying I agree with someone selling their "story", or that I wish they would, I'm merely saying I'm surprised that it appears on here that nobody has.

Thats cus there was nothing in it mate.

The DJ is after a money spinning opportunity.

probally cos it's been sold to the News of the f*cking world come this sunday mate!!

Will the club put a gagging order on Gerrard or can we expect to hear his side of the story?

FWIW (which I acknowledge is absolutely feck all) I just can't see Gerrard getting stuck into the other bloke and giving him a hammering. He's simply not sort of lad. I'd be more worried if he's been on his own and the fella had gone for him, one on one he'd do some damage. But in a group, against one bloke it takes a certain type of person to really give another human being a good hiding. Gerrards simply not got it in him IMHO, and it's entirely to his credit that that's the impression he gives off.

You don't know what people are like when completely bladdered though, I can be a nutter when I've had a few too many, otherwise Im really mellow

Not saying I'd beat someone senseless like haha, but maybe Gerrard would

You actually think at an important stage of the season, he would get that bladdered?

On another note, the guy's only human, and if he has taken some abuse, a bloke can only take so much, and if the scales have been tipped, anything can happen.

As Nanny said earlier in the thread, he's innocent until proven guilty by the courts.

bavlondon wrote:I have seen plenty of incidents in bars and clubs and in the heat of the moment people do not always take their phone out and take pics especially where someone is throwing a glass. What kind of punch up are you thinking of.

Bav I'm not talking about in the actual midst of the incident (incidently where did the throwing the glass thing come from, broken glass on the floor doesn't indicate a galss being thrown, far from it), I'm talking about in the immediate aftermath of it all.

Once someone has called the law, they don't usually arrive for a bit, and even if they do there's plenty of standing around while we go through the "it wasn't me it was him" and "he started it" routines. Normally at this point one of the group will fire up again, giving the police the chance to tell his friends to "calm him down or he's gone right now". During this time, believe me plenty of people start snapping away on mobile phones.

Bav there's not much on here other than perhaps tactical nuances of football which nobody cares much about, that I can claim any real expertese in. That is unless you want to discuss dildo's, or curiously bars exactly like the one which Steven Gerrard was alledgedly involved in an incident in.

If people taking photo's on their mobile phones in the aftermath of such incidents is alien to what you've witnessed, fair enough and no argument. I am absolutely telling you though with 1 million per cent certainty, if this "incident" had taken place in a public area, the DJ fella had claret all over him and Steven Gerrard was looking like he had been involved, while they were waiting for the Police it would have been like a 1990's Spice Girl concert. They probably needed two ambulances, one for the toothless DJ, and one for the people having epileptic fits as a result of all the flashing lights.

Anyway back to topic, I back our captain 110% he is constantly provoked even if he goes for a loaf by d!ckheads winding him up.

This Mc Gee fella has a double glazing company if he knows whats good for him he will drop the charges, otherwise he could find himself bankrupt and on the recieving end of upteen misfortune should the Liverpool and Ingurlund captain get sent down, his life would not be worth living. Seriously.

This scuffle probably happened within 10-15 seconds and once the owners of the bar and his soliciter have had a word in his ear he will do the right thing. The owners of the bar will lose all the footballers/wags and actors wonga and could go from being upper class to appearing on Britains worst pubs in a week.  All the waltzer spinners making a return to what probably was their arl pub.

if Gerrard gets jail over this there will be a blood bath at OT I wouldnt want that on my hands if I was him.
