He wont go down mate!

Theres a huge chance that one of the charges will be dropped, thats the norm. He'll probably end up getting done with affray and thats it,unless he threw the nastiest blow/done the most damage..actually threw the glass!
Theres no chance he'll go to jail on a first offence. He'll get a fine and bound to keep the peace for 2 or 3 years maybe some community service.Just cause a footballer is involved its blown out of proportion,im not even buying a paper today,bast@rds love this stuff! :(

I just hope it wont affect him on the pitch,we need him 100%.
You just know at every away ground plastic glasses will be chucked on the pitch! :no

??? ???
What S. Gerrard has done, is not good for the LFC image or his own image too.
We do not know the full cirmansatances of the affray, it might be some sort of personal provocation against Gerrard had actually taken place.

LFC should handle this matter seriously and very carefully too, and if Gerrard is required to be disciplined then the LFC should do it and without fear, however, LFC and the all LFC's fans should also protect and fully support Gerrard, even if he was proven guilty, I am quite sure he is so sorry about the whole matter and about its timing.

We must support S. Gerrard regardless if he is guilty or not.

Stupid wind up merchant double glazing salesman Manc kunt.

So this fella winds up our captain and insults our club and our captain gets charged for it, great.

Anything to stop us winning No19.

Now just swap the situation around if Steve had been attacked by 6 geezers (even if he was being a knób) then we would be calling for 20 years for all of them.

My son idolises Steve and his name is on the back of all my shirts but we can't lok at this thru rose tinted glasses, as i said how would you react if it was the other way around.

Still it's a big IF, regarding if he actually did anything

your spot on mate, and if he had done it the club should also take a stand.

Ah he's not a f.ucking superhero, he did something wrong so fecking what

Oh no stevies a bad bad boy

He'll pay the consequences for whatever he's done an thats that

He IS a Superhero to most kids, especially my 3 year old son who sings everytime he see's him.

That is his mantra, club captain and all, he drags us from the jaws of defeat and is the heartbeat of our club.

So him doing something "wrong" as you said (which as yet is to be proved) is a MASSIVE deal, he has a huge responsability and yes he will have to pay the consequences.

and i hope for his reputation, the health of our of CLub and our title ambition that it's all a load of bóllóx

Course it's a big deal but im not going to hate the guy over it, he's human after all, I dont expect him to be like jesus

he was the highest profile guy there, so my guess is that accuser would need compensation, and realised quickly that he'd get more from stevie g, than the other two paupers he was with!

by my reckoning, the other two probably did the fisty cuffs, and gerrard got involved to stop it. but as we all know, that would look like, from an untrained eye, that gerrard was the provoker and attacker.

however, the coppers couldve been keeping him there until he signed autographs for the whole station :D

erm...beat nanny to the compo claim note

Erm sorry to dissapoint you Doc but check back about 20 pages . Compo  :nod

Er.......Since when?

They abolished Laws?

I know a lad who got 12 months in the nick for ABH.

He wont get jailed cause of who he is.

The victim will put in a huge compensation claim as well I would imagine. His ma will be on the phone as we speak to claims and compensation people as we speak saying, he feels dizzy, back pain, blurred vision and hurt his neck!

All Stevie has to do is look sorry in court, aplogise, plead guilty (if there is the evidence to convict him), and he will get 150 hours comm service, and a fine. And a criminal record!

He might lose some sponsorship over it though.

FFS Cantona nearly took someone head off in front of millions of witnesses an that all he got.

An my lad got community service an all for something similar.

Steven has no previous is of good character an a respected member of Liverpool. He was provoked,

Imagine if Joey Barton had done this the fuss it would have kicked up.

If he's glassed someone he deserves locking up. If he's smacked some bellend who gave him abuse this country's a joke.

Simple as that.

So what if he's a manc, pakistani, everton fan, black man or scouser... What difference does it make?

If Gerrard's acting like a thug he deserves to be punished. If its on CCTV then theres not really much defence for it is there.

If he's smacked someone who's provoked him then the countrys a joke. You can't judge because you were not there and don't have a clue what happened.
