Hes been in there now 18 hours how long can they keep him before they have to ask for an extention

he needs to be careful thats he's totally honest with the police,

IF (and thats a big IF) he was involved he needs to make sure he tells them the truth and he doesn't try to get one of his mates to cover for him, cause if the truth does eventually come out he'd be proper fooked, (perverting th course of Justice etc)

We are all behind him, but sometimes even sensible folk loose it sometimes.

hard to say fella. If no one has admitted throwing a glass then the police will keep them all for as long as possible until they find out which one done it. On the other hand, because he's Steven Gerrard, they might just want to keep him as long as possible for the sake of it.
