I've said it in the past and I'll say it again, Fowler should be playing more often. He’s our most intelligent forward and he’s our only real goal threat. I’d like to see Fowler playing alongside Bellamy for a while.

And? Luis Garcia has scored winning goals as well but he isn't the best player in the world and he sure as hell shouldn't start week in and week out.

Ciise has scored fantastic goals in his career but he isn't a fantastic player.

Wrong, Cisse is a fantastic player. Just not for us!

As for Luis Garcia , he is a big match player who should be used as such. and i think he holds the biggest case to be our constant LW

I put it down to Riise,Peltier and Paletta beeing patheticaly poor. Paletta is young so he'll improve and he's had better games than Peltier but Riise has no execuses.

Absolutely :censored: poor.

Something tells me that your not happy with Riise  ???  :D

Damn right. Every time he's marking a man he leaves tons of space for the opposing player to get a cross in.

Which is why we conceded the first goal against Arsenal a few weeks back.

Lando mentioned something interesting the other day regarding Hyypia's exposure. It's often that he is exposed because Riise is a tit when it comes to defending and it's true.

I agree about him being inconsistant and not a great defender, I always thought Riise was better on the left wing with someone behind him, I'm still unsure about Aurelio cos he looks dodgy when defending too!!

Ive never thought riise was a great player but 2 call him average is way off, but i do agree we need a world class leftback. Anyway ive never seen riise as being a natural leftback more of a wingback/winger.
As for paletta he has just had one of them games that all players have nevermind youngers new to a team that cant speak the language. He is a very promising youngster and should be given the benifit of the doubt.  God's just scored again  :)

Fantastic player, Cisse?

Whatever.

Luis Garcia isn't consistant enough to start in week and week out. Especially in a team that has title winning ambitions. Good enough for the squad but not as a regular.

All of our defenders except Agger have looked dodgey this season.

How mature of you, is there any need for this type of post? Losing in Europe is bad; we have more than enough in our arsenal to beat Galatasaray. I hate losing in Europe, that's not going to change. I'm also not discrediting our triumph in Istanbul, we deserved that, but to be the best team in Europe IMO you must go the full length without losing.

So name me the player who should be the week in, week out LW??

Garcia is far the best player we have in that position at this moment in time.

as for Cisse, i wouldn't call rubbish. He manages to sccore goals wherever he is. Even getting Hat-tricks for France while playing alongside Henry! Thats not rubbish.

I'm sorry but if you lose a game in Europe and you win the trophy, you cannot call yourself Europe's best team of that season.

Yeah, right :D

You can't, that's the thing, we weren't the best team in the competition two seasons ago when we won it because we lost to Monco and Graz. We were Champions but we werent the best team.

I hate losing games in Europe, there is no excuse. No match is pointless, if that's the case than losing against a team like Watford or Charlton doesn't matter.

I cannot stand losing, it does my head in.

As for the person who said "did I watch the Champions League final?" I was there.  :;):

Just to add I never said we have lost this match either, 3-1 is :censored: poor though.

Aye OK
