My best player off all time is Robbie Fowler when he was at his best Liverpool were at  there worst but still managed to score a shed loads of goals rooney had nothing on Robbie when he was young.

Be a terrific signing for someone if they give him a chance and motivate him. Suggested to the boss that Fulham could do worse than sign him, not sure any of the promoted clubs would find a role for him, so he may well head off to MLS or somewhere like that

Robbie is my favourite player ever. (Wasn't old enough to see the likes of Dalglish. I have grown up watching Robbie Fowler, who along with Mcmanaman, were shining lights at a time when the majority of players at the club were substandard imo..

Easily the most natural and lethal finisher in the history of the premiership. Absolute genius. At the hieght of his power even Shearer couldn't touch him in terms of goalscoring and knowing where the net was.

Fowlers attitude let him down in the end I think, thats not a critisicm mind ! I just think he knew how good he was and nobody else did unless you was a Liverpool supporter looking on. Its other so called professionals opinion that Robbie Fowler was good but not good enough for England or Liverpool (GH).

SIGH how much if onlys are us lot thinking off now??

A phenomenal striker at his peak. Earned the nickname God and no mistake.  :bowdown

However, do you guys think he would still be good/fit enough to do a job in Scotland (all jokes about the quality of the SPL aside)?

I wonder if we will ever see a player of his calibre come through the ranks like he did.

prso I think he would do well in Scotland. From what ive read both Rangers and Celtic are after him and im sure if thats the case then he would get a regular 1st team place. Provided he can maintain some level of fitness which im sure he can im sure he will do great there.

Cheers for the heads up Bav. Would love to see him at Rangers.

It's sad to see him go. For me he is the heart and soul of LFC....and no truer supporter.

It would be good if he could carry on in some capacity at anfield as some others have said.

He is a real legend and a true gent and he gave us his best...

Thanks for your hard work and dedication, Robbie...you will be missed.
