For all those who wanted rafa to spend - 17 million on owen...

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby 7_Kewell » Sat Dec 31, 2005 6:11 pm

He's now out until April with a broken foot!  Rafa was wise not to bow to pressure and waste 17 million on him...especially seeing he's going to be wanting out and his clauses* will allow his out for 10 million.

It's good news for England, no doubt about that.  It also shows the folly of putting too many eggs in a single basket and looking for the quick fix.

Rafa knows what he's doing, thank goodness!

I can't see rafa signing him though ,read the article in the mirror and his comments that he doesn't need a 25 goal  plus striker

the criticism of crouch was blown out of all proportion by the media. i said when we signed him that it would be a good signing because i trust the manager that we have. in my opinion, he's the best manager in europe bar none.
