Yet again another impressive performance from Torres, he may not have the lungs of Kuyt. Which in its own right his a very high comparison to compare him with. But he has the battling qualities and the workrate to go with it. Which is something I do like suprisingly, but he also has the technique and the predatory instinct to go with it.
Though he may not be the most naturally gifted finnisher, I reckon he'll be a real thorn in the sides of most opponents this season, he has quite simply given us another dimension, one we desperately needed.

Torres has been an excellent addition to the team, and whilst Torres looks to be settling into life in England and life with Liverpool, it’s important that people keep a level head and have some form of perspective. Torres still needs to acclimatise to the cultural difference, the language barrier and the style of football played in the EPL.

It will be interesting to see the reaction of fans if Torres goes through a baron spell of front of goal or has a string of poor performances. (Touch wood he has neither).

If torres did go through a loss of form the fans would stick by him, he has shown enough class to show how good he is going to be :talktothehand

This might be the case or it might not, I have seen many players come and go and the view from the stands is always the same, when a player is playing well, he is a hero, when a player is playing poorly then he is the villain.

The guy is the real deal.

His first goal on Saturday was evidence of this. When he got the ball it was not really a chance. His pace and clever running with the ball took him past the defenders and he coolly slotted it in the corner with his left foot.

He made it look simple in the end, but his own supreme skills got him to the point where he could shoot without hindrance from the defenders. They were left in his wake; though to be fair, better defenders will suffer the same fate this season.

I think.Torres will be more than good play before time.Because he's just 23 years old and young.Rafa has done good job for took him.
