Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

My favoutite when I was growing up was Jimmy Case, probably because he was from Gartson like me.
But he couldn't half tw@t the ball. Scored a great goal in the 1977 FA Cup Final.

During the 80's it was Kenny for me.

During the 90's Patrick Berger, I thought he was very underrated.

00's Gerrard.

Only professional to - play in goal (41 appearances), Defence, Midfield, Striker, and later be Director and then to be Manager (winning a Championship) - at one club

He was a nice lad an all Eff made me laugh though i was talking to him one night in the chippy in Netherley not long after Hansen arrived. He was moaning saying there were to many jocks (his words) they were taking over.  But he paid for me chips so i let him off

I've been a Liverpool supporter for 25 years, do you want to guess how many players have played for us in that time.

I can rule players out - Degen, Mascherano, Babel, Skrtel, Dossena and most of the current squad

so he gave an honest opinion based on how he sees it and you lost a little respect for him, is that right?

Think masher can become a fav because of his passion for us .

Would add players like

Bruce
Rob Jones
Molby
Aldo
Johnstone
Hansen
Thommo

All not the best players to have played for us but still favs .

The feature they did on LFC.TV about 100 players that shook the kop was great will see if i can find it .
