Liverpool were great yesterday ! Hopefully with this performance will make them belived that they are a good team and will make to CL. Next test Liverpool vs Everton .

Decent performance in patches, good to see Gerrard bossing it in the second half. Another disappointing show from Owen, but Cheyrou did well. We shouldn't read too much into him getting two goals, the first was just a case of knocking the loose ball into an unguarded net. The second goal was class - brilliant run and cross from Gerrard and excellent run from Cheyrou - maybe we should try him alongside Owen. I thought we should have killed the game off second half and that lack of a third goal left us defending a narrow lead late on again! At least we held on and will probably get Arsenal or manu in the next round   Tranmere would be a nice tie........

It was great to see Hyypia and Henchoz at the back, I guessed it might happen after Henchoz replaced Biscan during a few games. The defence was solid and perhaps careless rather than at fault for the goal. Dudek should have had more men in the wall, especially facing a good free kick taker like Robert.

The team done well yesterday and so did houlier.  I said I would give him credit when he  deserves it!  Not sure about dodgy Dudek poor efferot to save Roberts strike.  What about Carragher though. When dudek fapped Carragher arrived to tell him exactly what he thought of his feeble goal keeping. That's why I think Jamie Is the most improved Liverpool player in the last year.  No s##t with this lad what you see is what you get. and thats passion.  With all due respect to Hypia and now gerrard I think Carragher would be a better captain.
