We've gotten Arsenal at Anfield in the FA Cup 3rd round.

Thoughts on this?

Funny the way chavski always get pi$$ easy ties at home to sh.ite teams. Hard game but its a big plus that its at anfield and i reckon we can beat them.

Looking at the draw...... i think after the 3rd run, arsenal and manure will be out.

Then we will have an easy ride to the final again  :D ...on the way to another treble (league cup, FA cup & champions league)............... :buttrock

LFC have often done things the hard way en route to winning Cups and it doesn't come much toughter than Arsenal. That said we are at home and this could swing things in our favour.

I'm hoping that both Rafa and Arsene take the 3rd round seriously and field their strongest sides. With the distraction of the Champions League not a factor (the later rounds are in Febuary/March) I suspect both sides will be at full strength and would be encouraging as the competition had started to lose it's prestige in recent years. Last season's final helped to ressurrect this competition and as a fan you can't beat a good "Cup Run" :)
