Sometimes you have to roll with the punches (Sheff U) sometimes you have to take a fall (today). Its what you do after you go down that shows what charactor you have. Liverpool will get back up and start swinging again.(Psv and Cheatski)

To be honest I feel like sh!"t at the moment.  Strange team selection from Rafa, but I thought it was good enough. God only knows how bad the scousers feel .

We're Liverpool.

You have to do it for them.

Just for the record mate i am devastated but trying to look towards the champions league and the Chelsea game for Liverpool to put this right.

A 3-0 scoreline is just a lot to take in from the bitters but lets hope it is a test of their character to bounce back and show we are still a team who can challenge this season.

Again we have a slow start to the season but its time to make sure we start a run a lot earlier than we did last season and get ourselves back into contention for the premiership.

Its far from over yet.

Fúcking hell, some people from this thread should be put on suicide watch.

Also I don't think your title bid is over, there are plenty more games left!

With Moyes we have one ok season and a shitty season.

It's the turn of the ok season this year!

Don't get too disheartened by the result today, with a bit more luck for Liverpool, it may have been a different game and result.

I haven't seen a derby played that open since the Cup 4-4 draw!

Surely you can understand some peoples reactions? You may be posting as friendly as can be but i bet behind that computer you have the biggest grin on the planet right now.

Enjoy your victory and dont be suprised by some dejected reds.

All teams have bad/woeful days, unfortunately this was ours.

Yes I know we have started slowly, and have new players who aren't used to the EPL pace, but look, Rafa.B will sort it.

Good to see some sanity returning after the typical knee jerk reactions which came immediately after the game had finished.

The amount of sh#te people seem able to post after such a defeat never seizes to amaze me. Get a grip you bunch of drama queens!

Today simply was one of those days. Nothing went our way today, absolutely nothing. It goes without saying that Chelsea and Man U won their matches, just to add insult to injury.

We were simply woeful in defence today, and I never thought I'd see the day our Spanish manager would be critisized for playing a Scouser in the derby, but there you go. Can you imagine the horror if Djimi had made Carra's blunder? This place would have gone into meltdown.

Sami wasn't impressive either, he stank the place out. Simply put, our defence was a shambles. Even Reina embarrassed himself. At least Pepe can take comfort from the fact that his mistake didn't cost us any points, we were dead and buried by the time he messed up.

Everton playing five in midfield meant our four would have their work cut out for them. And boy did they. Everton's midfield pressured us high up the pitch and were very aggressive. With one man less in that area, we simply couldn't dominate them.

Up front Crouch were ok, Fowler was better. Robbie is obviously fit now and seems quicker than I've seen him for a long time. Long may it continue. Neither he nor Crouch had any chance of note that I can remember, though.

We had quite a few chances, with Gerrard's two efforts against the posts the ones that stand out. We had some shots from outside the area that went just wide, which is hardly surprising considering nothing went our way today.

It's disappointing not to score, but today's defeat was down to horrendous defending for their first two goals. When you can't even trust a player like Carra to save you, it just isn't going to be your day.

pre season we had a few.

this can only give us a kick up the árse, has too.Up until Neverton taking the lead i thought it was a great game and end to end.Because of my problems at 2 nil i fell asleep and missed the rest.To lose 3 nil to the bitters hasnt left me anymore depressed than i am.......SOME PEOPLE NEED TO REALISE ITS NOT LIFE OR DEATH........I KNOW.

Its a blóódy wake up  call to Rafa, the staff at Melwood and most of all the players,we are not as good as we may think we are.Hard work and the basics in defending need looking at again to fit in wih our new attacking principles we have this year.

Would you believe I had to work today as part of my new job?  I have to work a few random Saturdays a year and this was one of them, I couldn't believe it when I found out but there was no way around it.  I was getting text message updates throughout the day but I have to say I couldn't believe what I was reading.

Don't think I've missed a Liverpool game in years from either being at the match or watching on telly.  Today was the first in years.  I don't fucking care neither, it will be a long time before I watch this game on highlights or otherwise.  I saw Johnson's last minute goal before on telly.  That's all I've seen, that's all I want to see.

Meh, you win some lose some.

Not sure what the heck Reina was doing. He certainly needs to improve his catching techniques. We were playing a rival who are obviously hyped up for this one particular match and the disruption caused by the international break may have affected us.

A little humbling isn't necessarily a bad thing if used to give our players a kick up the backside.

Champions League up next, then Chelsea.

We have to just put this match behind us and prepare for what's coming next. Let Everton win their cup final. We actually win REAL cup finals.
