I say that next year we get Carson back, top goalkeepers cannot continue to make continous mistakes like Reina and Dudek!!!

is this the same scott carson who threw one into his own net against juventus?

how fickle can some fans be?

ok bad result... but im not getting away like some here, ffs were only 3 games in...i know its bad losing to the bitters...but you must look at the whole picture... country matches in the week  champions league game coming up, chelski after that... the only thing that gets to me is that rafa regards everybody as an equal... he expects every player in the squad to do a job for us...he likes to rest some players for certain games...i dont like rotation that much tbh...if a player gets tired then replace him...  ffs kuyt and bellemy never started today...  couldnt believe when i saw the line up   ???

Although due to work/family a lot of people wont be able to forget todays result in a hurry but i am trying to.

What i want to see is the reaction to this defeat on the players. Are they going to sulk now and feel sorry for themselves and therefore continue the poor run of form. Are they going to take the bull by the horns and show the rest of the Premier lge what Liverpool can do.

The last time see suffered a humiliating defeat was to the hands of Chelsea at Anfield. Once we had got ourselves sorted we went on a great run and hopefully that will be the reaction todays game gets.

So far this season i dont think they had been one player who in the short amount of games we have played you could say is looking in good form. Rafa has said that you probably wont see the best from Liverpool til November because of the international breaks. Do you believe this. I do.

Theres bound to be upset and negative thoughts but look at Arsenal. No-one could have predicted the start they are having. Chelsea today struggled to over power a Charlton team at Stamford Bridge.

I firmly believe that you can afford to lose 4 maybe 5 games this season to win the league. Ourselves, Chelsea and Arsenal have already dropped points. The mancs wil do soon.

Onwards and upwards and roll on next week when we thump Chelsea and the mood is better.

That was painful , having watched it from start to finish.

Two silly errors cost us badly, and Carra and Aurelio were poor today.

I have to blame Rafa for this, leaving a fit ,sharp Bellamy at home and putting Fowler on to start, was a bad idea.

Leaving Dirk Kuyt on the bench when you have just paid 10m for him, and not playing Pennant, when he was bought for the wing.

And Garcia.....Left wing! ..........Erm....Since when??

I jsut think Rafa has gone with sentiment and put in Fowler and Carra. even though Agger had done well as duputant.

I just blame Rafa for too much fiddling, and Reina and Carra for two silly errors. Reina should have pushed it over the bar, Carra should have knocked someones teeth out in The Glady's street end with that ball.

We get in the game from start to finish.

Dont know how Bellamy will react to being left at home!
:p

Completly agree wrong team selection today that's all it's about bad day at the office for Rafa. He'll get it right next time think he's just find a few out unfortunely

Ya,we lose at a big game like this may be just unacceptable. Frankly i can tell, johnson was not that good, it's our defenders clumpsy all the time except finnan. I was shocked when fowler in the starting list but he looked nothing wrong. Rafa too worried about the next two matches but carra and sissoko shouldn't been start.

First Goal - It's a foul (clearly)
Second Goal - Carra's mistake (Never saw a mistake like that since the own goals by him few years back against Mancs)
Third Goal - Reina's bundle (basketball rebounded by Johnson)

I am optimistic although we are the loser. Come on, Gerrard hits the woodwork twice plus wrong strategy wrong team selection.

Nothing worries. Walk on :;):

no pace and power with our front two, especially against an opposition with 2 strong centrebacks we just gave them a hell of a nice day. Pretty darn dissappointing  :(

Don't think we have played a good game so far this season, I reckon our old players are yet to gel with the new players, hopefully this will be better as the season goes.

Agree that it's early in the season. However we are ALREADY eight points adrift of Manure and 5 off Chelski.

What is disturbing is that given (I know its an assumption) we would do well to get 4 points out of 6 against those two we STILL have to rely on other teams to beat them. That is what is really worrying me. If it was 4 points or less I would be a whole lot less irate.

I was firmly of the belief that this would be our year- now I'm 50/50 at best.

The pressure is now firmly on. The players have to really turn it on from now if we are to stay in with a shout. Once it gets to 10 points off the lead forget it...when was the last time someone recovered that kind of lead and won the Premiership- if ever?

We need to play as settled a side as possible for the nest few games (injuries permittinG).

I think we are going to learn a lot about our playersn and whether they have what it takes mentally in the next few  games.

???

I dont think anyone was expecting that !!

The main difference between the teams was that they got lucky with the big refereeing decisions and when they got chances they were clinical in front of goal.

I was shocked when Carra was included in the line up and he clearly wasnt fit. Personally, I think Rafa got it wrong today but its not all doom and gloom. 9 times out of 10 he is spot on tactically, its just unfortunate that he got it wrong against our neighbours.

On another day we could have had 2 penalties, Gerrards efforts against posts could have gone in and it would have been a comfortable win, but these things do tend to even out over the season- look at the pen we got against Sheffield Utd.

Johnson will bring goals to Everton that were sorely missed by them last season and whether you rate him or not he will always get chances. If they had started with Beattie up front I think the outcome may have been different.

Lets remember that Chelsea have already lost to Middlesbrough so its not the time to start writing off title challenges just 3 games in. Today was a bad day at the office but if we can get a result next Sunday then confidence will rise again.
