The ref was diabolical, refused to acknowledge 2 fouls in the area, turned a blind eye to a handball from Hibbert.
And the fact we hit the post twice, Id have felt unlucky coming out losing 1-0 let alone 3-0!
It was just one of days, the last derby Everton will win again for a long time, we are still the pride of merseyside, we were even the better team today, the scoreline was just a fluke.
I would acknowledge it if Everton played better than us, but we were the better team today.

Oi Roberts, that's the most sensible thing you have ever posted on here  :O what's goin on lad  :D

Im a changed man now Zara  :D

Everton were nothing in the 2nd hal, our strength and ability head and shoulders above them, they faded in the 2nd half.. disapointing that this result looks worse, cos we gifted them 2 goals.. but I have confidence we'll be ok

calm heads people.. oh and ignore these bitters, it's teh only bragging rights they will have this season  :nod

Hey Zara, damn its been long since you posted on here!!!!!

I think had Poll rightly penalised Cahill for the foul on Alonso the outcome of the game could have been different but we cannot change that. What I hope Rafa does do is complain to the FA about Poll. If there using video evidence these days to catch players out then they can :censored: well use them to catch out the Refs aswell.

Lol tell me about it Bav lad.

Just watch all the gloom posters now, defeat is awful when it comes like today's against a team skillfully well below us, but I really think that the number of players on internationals has been the undoing of us.. you just can't be in peak condition when your jet lagged, time zoned out and need a day or two extra to recouperate.

The boss should have played Kuyt and Pennant at least from the start, but other than that he played the regulars? No.. so lets get over it people it's disaapointing, but Reina and carra are not bad palyers over night.

We'll be ok this season and we will beat Chelski  :nod I know it

i love your optimism......

Absolutely, you have to have optimism, otherwise what's the point.

Hey Zara, what part of London do you hail from?

is it ok to be "doom & gloom" now? cos the truth is its unlikely the scum, Chelsea or even Arsenal are going to lose ANY games by 3-0 this season. Before you start I still believe Benitez is the best we could have, but today it was his fault as much as anyone on the pitch. Why was Aurelio, an untried prem player who is no defender, paired up with Garcia on the left? Why did Crouch come off when it was Fowler who was getting nowhere? And for christs sake, why were we off the pace, not giving 100%? The squad is better but the performances are worse. I really thought we had a chance this season, but its already gone - not because we've dropped 3 points today, but because a side that goes out like that against their top rivals is going to drop points every other week at best. If this isn't sorted out by the end of this month we are going to be hoping for 4th place at best - again! Benitez and the players - Pull you're fingers out NOW.

A load of :censored:, Everton were worthy winners, they were the only side out of the two who actually took this match seriously and showed the passion required in the derby.

How is it a load of :censored:? You saying we didnt hit the post twice? You saying we shouldnt have had at least 2 penalties?
Are you trying to make out Everton were the attacking team and deserved their 3-0 Scoreline?
Get a grip son

No I'm saying we can't make excuses for losing three nil against Everton. If we had taken our chances and weren't so sluggish at the back we would of won. I couldn't give a toss if we hit the post 5 times, the fact is we lost and knowing we had strong penalty claims and near misses doesn't soften the blow of losing to Everton.

We were s.hit, we lacked passions and finishing and that's what Everton had today.

Thats what hurts more is the fact we should have won, 3-0 is just flattering for them.
If they were better than us and ran rings around us, Id accept losing to the blue :censored: better than I am now.
But the scoreline was just a insult, ive never seen many games where a team can be outplayed and still win by such a margin

Reinas starting to commit howlers regularly now, what the f.ucks going on. We criticised the likes of calamity james and dudek for this sort of thing but for some reason reina seems to be above any criticism here.. He needs to sort himself out quick, we cant have them sort of mistakes being made every match! Carra was well out of it today too. And our finishing was awful

Eversh.ite just used up their luck for the whole season. Two clear pens, two clear fouls before their goals.

We played badly but us playing badly should still be good enough to beat that pile of w.ank. 3-0 is a freak result though.

Lots of negatives today - Aurelio and Fowler in particular were poor, our three defensive mistakes for the goals were just horrible and Riise's injury looked bad.

On the positive side Sissoko was outstanding again and Kuyt looks promising.

Things need to be sorted out quickly but in a couple of months I think we'll be looking back at this result as a blip. Like I say, freak result. I f.ucking well hope so anyway.

The bluesh.ite can enjoy themselves for now because they  have f.uck all chance of any success. For them this was a substitute for actually winning some silverware - their fans are just pitiful really.
