EVERTON VS LIVERPOOL - Countdown to the woodison derby

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby stmichael » Tue Sep 05, 2006 12:13 pm

My mate asked me the other day if I would rather tw@t them good and proper 4 or 5 nil, or get a last minute or late controversial winner, that you know would just increase the bitterness off the scale?!

I want to tw@t them good and proper, put them in their place bigtime like we did last year (We didnt even get out of first gear at Goodison either). If we win 1-0 with a dodgy goal they'll just come out with "The real score was 0-0 so we're as good as you" and their other b#llocks. Tw@tting good and proper. + You never know how crucial goal difference could be.

p.s. look out for the young chuckle brother getting booked three times before getting sent off.  :D

not the first person to suggest playing gerrard on the left but to be honest i can't see how that would get the best out of him.

it's a fair suggestion that gerrard can play anywhere in a 4 or 5 man midfield but i don't think this is the game to be trying anything new. i suppose the argument is that if he plays on the left, he can constantly cut in and have shots on his stronger side but we then lose our natural width.

i think he'll go with aurelio left side for his extra physical presence. i agree that gonzalez will probably get booted out of the match and garcia (despite being a big game player) should be kept on the bench due to his versatility.

I hope will stuff these horrible little peebles club this weekend. Normally over the course of the year I don't feel much hatred for this "little" club. More humour than hatred, but twice a year, every year ( its not like there gonna meet us in a cup comp lol), I really do hate them.

An Everton supporter, likes Everton partly but HATES Liverpool, its more important that we lose than they win, I swear. Why? Why? Why?  I'll tell you because nobody likes being second best. Liverpool have and always will be the best club in England, sucess breeds sucess where as Everton breeds bitter twisted souls.

"We would of been the best club in the world, if it weren't for you at Heysel!"  - How can you ever back this up? Its just another excuse!

EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB  - LETS BLAME EVERYONE ELSE CLUB!
Arteta as good as Alonso? Gerrard playing in there reserves? Carra - average? Please you bitter fools, grow up and realise what how pathetic your club is. We are vastly superior in every aspect of a football club,

Ground? Check

Players? Check

Internationals? Check

Fans  - Don't even need to Check

History? Check

Potential? Check

Manager? Check

Board? Check

Everton are not the PEOPLE's Club, its another sign of delusion, they have won a few games and think they can rub shoulders with the big boys,

When Gerrard and co show them up this weekend, they will pick a fight in town then go home and come up with another excuse why they lost... again.

carragher one of the best defenders around? around where - the vauxhall conference. he is slow, average in the air, and suffers massive lapses in concentration where he is often caught out of position.

Vauxhall Conference?

Obviously still hanging on to their 80's 'glory' days, it's not been sponsored by Vauxhall for years, twat.

AJ has a year in the prem under his belt and aquitted himself well.

Aquitted? And I thought it was only our players that ended up in the dock :D

On Graham Poll, I'm not that keen on him myself but emailing the FA is f#cking pathetic. He's just a referee. They should put their effort into creating some sort of atmosphere at one of their games for once or something else.

Riise, Alonso, Gerrard, they are great players and would be worthy of a place in our Everton squad I think, but no-one else. Reina is not as good as Howard, his fluffs and mistakes are constant - and he didn't even compare to Nigel Martyn. I would rather have Yobo & Lescott anyday over Carragher & Hyppia or Agger, I say that with absolutely no doubt in my mind. Osman or Pennant? Easily Osman. Arteta or any of their midfield (except Gerrard)? easily Arteta, too!

By Royal Blue Jersey

Liverpool may have had better squads in the past but this year, it's a fact that they are NOT better than us.

If you think that they are, you must also think that Portsmouth are better than us, Bolton are better than us, and Newcastle are better than us.

No rationale whatsoever in your claim.

By TX Bill

I'm all for reallism, I agree our squad isnt as good as Chelski's or the red mancs but I honestly believe that our squad is to the same level of Arsenal and the sh#te.

There's very few of those RS players I'd have in a Blue Shirt. Bellamy, Crouch - :censored:. Kuyt?, a prospect, not a proven goalscorer in the prem, AJ has a year in the prem under his belt and aquitted himself well.

Gerrard?, yes he possibly might make the reserves (I can't bring myself to give him anymore credit). But excuse me? wasn't he gonna win the world cup for us??, don't believe all the hype.

Reina, No, Howard is at least his equal at present but will quickly surpass him.

Their back four, No thanks, can't defend set pieces...

....Alonso's ok but on a par with Arterta.

That other geezer, the thumb sucking infant can shove it up his :censored: - Osman all day long.

:buttrock  Great news.

Carra and Riise joined in a full training session today so maybe Riise was ok but Rafa just didnt want him to play for Norway.  Sissoko and Warnock have been training fully for just over 1 week.

The boys are back
