were you not reading the above posts?  He might not be fit to start.  I wonder if this had anything to do with why he was left out of the Stoke match. Everyone assumed that it was because we needed as many offsenively skilled players out there as possible, but maybe it was fitness that kept him out.

Yes i did read the post that's why i was implying that he might start and i hope he will be fit enough to start , we need him in the middle of the park , tackling players all over the pitch , like he was  during the manure game

If Mascherano is missing, I think Rafa might pick Plessis to partner Alonso.

Come on chaps - let's bash the bitters!

It will probably be a tight game. 0-0 or 1-0 to us. Kuyt to score :;):

im nervous, unlike the manure match when i was boasting to my manure mates that we're gonna win. some might say everscum's form and defence has been :censored: lately but in a game like this one, i think form goes out of the window. i hope our men have the desire and passion to send them on a one-way ticket to tesco.

Kuyt will score the winner, then run up to the camera, lift his jersey to reveal a white T Shirt unerneath where it will say
"Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Peewee"
:D
Joking aside i dont care if we win 1-0 and its a cr@p game for 90 minutes and the goal deflects off Lucas' hair in injury time.
I'd much prefer we hammered them 5-0 but 3 points is the priority.
Hopefully it is a good game though.
They have'nt had a great start and have been poorer at the back than usual.Being at home there is no way they will sit back and play for the point so that could work in our favour and we should exploit their defence in an open game!

It is a good point about there defence so far this season. I watched the Blackburn and Portsmouth games in the pub and was shocked by how easy they were opened up, every time they went forward they nearly conceded on the counter attack.
Now if Moyes plays a similar adventurous style i really think we should be too good and beat them qith relative ease.

If however Moyes uses his head and plays tight and tries to kill the game, we will be in for an obvious drab 0-0...unless someone gets a pure flukey winner.

I think he (Moyes) will be cautious after 2 home defeats in a row, but heres hoping he isnt.

I think thats a good thing. I had wondered whether Keane may sit out, hoped not. I always prefer two strikers

Ihope we win 1-0 with a goal like the watford reading match.Ball goes 3 feet wide from stevie-g shot and riley gives it as a goal. It would be fantastic to see riley being strung up by the bitters at F.T. Perfect end to a perfect day :D  :D

Moyes may set them out tight mate, even for the first 20 mins or so but I cant see them playing for a draw, they need points..Even if he does that wont matter i dont think!
One way or another the game will open up,their fans will be going nuts if they sit back and do a Stoke. The players will respond to the crowd and we SHOULD outplay them!
