Is that midget reprobate available for them? Need to be a little careful around set pieces if he is.... he maybe a an irritating little tw@t but he can be a threat when it comes to those. We need to be a little wary of him.

Lets forget that keane cost 20 million....lets all forget that kuyt is a poster boy for the happy clappy hippies...

We should go back to 4-3-2-1 with gerrard as a support striker. This formation worked well against smaller teams...and they don't come smaller than ever$hit..... :p

                 Reina
   Carra   Skertel   Agger  Dossena
        Mascherano    Alonso
  Pennant/Babel         Riera
                 Gerrard
                  Torres

Should be too strong for the $hitters.........

Decisions, choices..... when in doubt... rotate.....

While no game in the champions league is easy, well not many are, PSV at home will possibly be our easiest game in the group stages.
They were battered by Athletico and that was in Eindhoven.

I cant see anything other than a resounding win against PSV.

The Everton one is all we should be concentrating on though and lets see what players are fit afterwards, as its bound to be a bruising physical encounter.

The war is about to commence tomorrow. :p

I want to see blood all over the pitch at woodison park with punches thrown around with lots of casualties (mainly Evertonians), broken legs, broken ribs, broken elbows, injured knees, injured eyes, broken fingers, broken toe, nervous breakdowns,  brain malfunctioning and all the other organs of the body which can be broken or injured or made to malfunction etc....

That's how this Derby is supposed to be played. :p

I would agree with Rock's team.  Would love to see a defense of Carr/Agger/Skrtel together - this give us the best of both worlds - tough no nonsense defending of Carra and Skrtel and the ability of playing the ball of defence ability that Agger has.  I feel too many times either Carra or Skrtel just hoof the ball out of defense aimed at no-one in particular.  This just ends up given the ball to oppo and another attack.   With Agger, more attacks could be started from the back - fed through masch and Alonso and yes, I would revert to last year system with Gerrard behind Torres.  While Keane, I am sure will come good, at the moment our attack looks a bit toothless and I would sacrifice him in order to get the required result tomorrow. Many will think he just needs game and i would agree and would have though the Crewe game was ideal but I feel a Merseyside Derby is certainly not a game to be used in order to give a player match time

Yeah, play the new system which we haven't played in ages for a crunch derby game and create chaos in our own back line by our own players.  :no

why not they are all internationals and have played in a 3.5.2 formation before, with mash behind alonso and gerrard, the back 3 are well supported, carra is right footed agger left footed the defence would be very strong and well ballanced, this opion would allow us to get at everton, they are very vunerable at the back  so why not have a go.

Everton will only play Yakubu up top. So we don't need 3 CBs to handle one forward. Carra and Skrtel will be enough to see out the threat of Yakubu. Our 2 full backs can bomb on to join the attack which will give us an extra man when we attack.
