Quite a tense fixture for Lucas to come to as he hasnt had many chances so far. He looked decent though and nearly scored.

Rafa's turning my hair greyier by the week.Think hes lost the plot altogether. Some mad decisions, lucky to get away with the 3pts today.Missing Xabi more than i ever taught we would..On the rugby, would'nt mind seeing ye,england,do in tonight but im afraid its going to be Sth Africa by 20pts plus..I'll buy ye all a beer if im wrong though..

Ive got to be honest I have never felt so low after a derby win..  We where lucky to get any points from that game.

1.  Rafa sets up a team that was so un balanced it is untrue.  No width, No one on the right at all??
2.  When it was obviousy goin bad for us we made no changes.. Why?
3.  Taking SG off instead of Sissoko who was useless.. again

I have always backed Rafa, but I have to say I think he has lost the plot..  It is hard`to say it when you see we have still not lost in the Premiership, but with the squad we have (I know he is the one who has assembled it) we should be beating these small teams with ease, yet we keep making it hard work.

Would anyone on this forum have made the subs he did today??

Do you think these kind of decisions may lead to him losing the dressing room??

Its 3 points in the bag and I should be feeling good.. but I don't..  sorry
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

He should deffo be ahead of sissoko.....

Not want to be too harsh on sissoko....he gives 100% and all....  but when he plays, he almost seem like playing for the opposition...

Whats the use of breaking up play when u give the ball back to the   opposition ???

Gosh....no more sissoko please....

The problem with rafa is that he thinks too much....he has to realise the football (or soccer  :p ) is a simple game.

Just pick your strongest team and let them do the rest....

Can't believe some of his decisions......OMG...was he trying to NOT win that game ?

Also have to kick props to Mash..... He singlehandedly neutralized the whole eversh1t midfield.... Mash shouldn't be dropped at all..... for whatever reason..

270 mins he has plaed across 2 continents , he must be dead tired , credit to him he put his jet lag behind him and produced a good display . wasn't his best but it was average , hope alono comes back soon . we really miss him and need him .  :)

Actually...i can't wait for kewell and agger to come back....

Once kewell come back, our team will reach new heights.

This has to be our strongest team

               Reina
  Finnan   Carra   Agger  Riise/Arbeloa
  Pennant/  Alonso   Mash   Kewell
  Benayoun
                Gerrard
                             Torres

As you can see...i don't rate kuyt, voronin and crouch...
