Those 2 are not good enough and never will be!

Totally deserved lead for Evershite  :(
Did we even get a shot on goal or look like scoring that 1st half??

We had chances and Voronin should really have scored but these things happen...

Mascha not good enuff? Your jokin' mate....

Our midfield set-up's not working. A change is REQUIRED and fast!

Its been very scrappy in places but overall Everton deserve to be in the lead, we simply are not creating anything and Vorinon may as well be in defense

Thus negating his job on the pitch. He's been played out on the right today, he should stick to that job. Because Gerrard feels that he wants to stay central, he's stayed there, and this has caused us problems down the right where poor Finnan has had to cope with attack after attack with Voronin reluctantly tracking back. Rafa's f*cked that up. he should have given instruction for this gap to be plugged. Absolute howler of a mistake to make, and I ain't talking about Sammi either.

Kuyt has been non-existent. Virtually. I think I've heard his name called once. Gerrard still has his head up his hole, and Sissoko has been awful. Rafa needs to make at least 2 changes for the START of this second half and sort his tactics out. Either way, I can see us taking a defeat here unless we get our sh*t together. That probably won't happen.

Thank god Anichebe missed....

Key point. We're not winning the battle in the middle. Our midfielders must put the ball in the ground and play it, they're not managing to do so.

Gerrard in the right is playing well and helps winning this battle, but I'm not too happy with Mascha and Sissoko so far.

Hyypia? Anyone who has seen football for at least 10 years knows that this things happen even to great players. Come on Hyypia!

The ref is a bit annoying.

Both teams have done a great effort, but I think Everton will notice it more in the second half

the midfield cant do :censored: cos none of the defensive can pass Sabre. Their strong point is tackling. Anyone with football sense can see that. Its not their :censored: fault. The whole team is running around directionless. No shape. The distance between midfielders and strikers is horrifying sometime. Switch back to 4-4-2 , put in pennant for momo, stretch them, play to our strength and we can beat them. This is Rafa's problem

You really cant blame the forwards for whats going on today, the shoddy midfield tactics that rafa has put in place are not working and Dirk and Veronin are not getting any of servce and are spending much of the game in our own half battling for the ball.

I think Veronin has been our best defender thus far!

Gerrard on the right is a waste if there's no one in the middle that can get him the ball out wide.  All he does then is drift inside and expose Finnan.  The central midfield pairing has to change.  Gerrard needs to be moved inside and one of the other two has to come off.  Mascherano is the better player but he's spent the last two weeks jetting around S. America and has played 180+ minutes for his country.  He will fade as this game goes on.  I'd take him off, keep Sissoko on and bring on Pennant.  I'd give that team 10 minutes to make more of an impact offensively and if the strikers still aren't getting chances, I'd bring Babel on for Kuyt.

Lost count of the amount of times that I have seen Finnan on the right on his own with no one to overlap with and no help on the way which leads to a horrible hit and hope long ball.

A blind man can see the midfield cant pass BECAUSE the forwards are creating no space and if we play the ball into space our forwards are too slow to get to it first. Kuyt was played through a few times and got there too late.

Exactly my thoughts. Babel for Kuyt is what I said. it makes sense. But you know it's not going to happen.
