Europa league - Here we come

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The UEFA cup is a necessary evil for the players to ensure they get their fingers out for the rest of the season and qualify in the top 4 for next seasons CL.

It's a bit like the League Cup in that you can't really get excited about it until you find yourself in the semis plus we are playing a team that sounds like an STD :D

It's more like winning a medal in the special olympics - better not to be in the competition in the first place.

You are one tw.at making a comment like that, behave your :censored: self. How old are you  10. Wrong so wrong

But... does anyone really care about this?
I'd probably prefer not to be in it, we got bigger problems, a small squad, lets concentrate on the league.

Better to win something than nothing. we aint won jack in 3 years so why the fuk shld we pass up this oppertunity to win what is a big competition. Maybe 3 years ago it was nothing but these days its a big cup. The last 4 will be filled with powerhouse teams.

It's a nothing competetion, the Rumbelows Cup is better

And you are a c'unt.

Why? because I made a special olympics joke? come on, much humour is based on such stuff (blind, short, disabled,) etc, jaysus watch a Jimmy Carr gig.

No offense meant, just a joke.

shaktar v bremen final i think. duno who won it.

But in theory the last 8 cld be

Liverpool v Juventus
Atletico v Roma
Marseille v Valencia
Villereal v Benfica

You are bling ignorant to say that is a kiddies cup. Lots of big teams, some big games at Anfield. Europa is changing and becoming a bigger compo.

We can either have a go at this and pick up our 1st trophy since 2006 FA cup or we can not try, get knocked out and have a mildly fitter squad for the league. Why do you not want us to be in this! Its 3rd behind CL and PL

Dude, we're playing Unirea, I think Aldershot has a bigger stadium

(Aldershot holds twice as many)

The comptetition has a "loser stamp" on it, it would be better if it was just for the teams that didn't qualify for the CL but having the teams that just got dumped out of it makes it worse.

Either way, it is just confirmation that it has been a krap season.

If our most important players get injured in  this, we'll see how people feel.

We must still go out with a positive mentality. If we have a bad result here it could affect us going into the City game. Yes it's a :censored: competition that no one cares about but we just have to make the most of it.
