Yup...although both he and Fowler are no longer the prime goal getter any more at least Fowler is honest and seriously have LFC in his heart. Can't say the same about Owen tho... :no

I tnk hed be a great signing and hes still young enough,20m is a great price. But would Chelsea offer double that? They have lost alot of money this year and i dont think they will spend as much money.Id love to see him at Liverpool,i dont care how many strikers we have ,if we have him,hes first choice, bellamy can f off if we get eto'o,and i wouldnt not sign him because we "dont need another striker"hes a must buy if we have the money.

I agree with most of that but however much money chelsea have lost theyll still be able to outbid us probably. Even so id love to see him at the club.

Chelsea will not be able to accomodate 3 top strikers who all wants to play and need games to keep them at the top of their game...if they bid for Eto'o, one of them (Savchenko or Drogba) will have to go and it don'tlook like it's gonna happen

people have said owen is finished nearly every year of his career, i would love him to come back, he won't but that is not the point i will take a tenner bet that he will score goals this year and next as the lad is a born goalscorer and the best this club has produced

but it doesn't matter as he isn't coming back end of

but i do hate anyone who says he is cr@p and finished,

Mourinho didn't want to sell Gallas. He knew that Gallas was his best defender (gets the nod over Terry cos of his effectiveness in every position) but Gallas was rocking the boat and Kenyon and Abramovich hung him out to dry - as an example, I'd say, but also as part of the power game they're playing against Mourinho.

Mourinho was spitting blood they shipped him out, and it's been unravelling at Chelsea since then.

I reckon Chelsea might sell us Robben, but you'd be looking at least£10-12m for him and I don't know with his injury record and slightly suspect temperament whether he's worth it when we clearly need to buy a world-class striker.

Gallas was part of the deal in a swap because they wanted Ashley Cole big time!!

Mourinho is too cute to sell a dangerous winger to a major rival and contender....It would be stupid business.
He is well aware of Robbens threat on the pitch and im sure we can pressume that most managers fancy us to be higher up the league next year. Why risk selling a player to a rival when he could be the player to score or create the goal that could put and end to your own teams season the following year!

I cant believe im even talking about this anyway...its NOT going to happen! :D

Gallas wasn't sold or swapped voluntarily by Mourinho, not even for Cashley. By that stage it was inevitable that Kenyon would use him as bait, and he wanted to leave. Mourinho never offered him, either for cash or as part of a swap. Like i say, this is where Chelsea's real split happened

Not bothered either way on Robben, have to say

Eto'o or Villa. If Liverpool bring one of this two player that will be a great singing for us. Eto'o and Villa can scores goal and everything that can do a striker.

Michael Owen is a product of the Liverpool youth system, sure Arsenal have a great reserve team full of talent but it isnt theres, Liverpool can boast Steve Mcmanaman, Robbie Fowler, Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher to name but a few, what hurts many Liverpool supporters (myself included) is how he left without giving Rafa a chance. Gerrard stayed and look at the rewards hes recieved, Michael left not believing in the club. I wouldnt want to see Owen back, theres no denying his talent but its attitude that wins my affection.
