Eto'o in the summer?

why does bellamy have to go? he works his socks off. yes, he is a nasty little barstard but he plays well. Kuyt, bellamy, voronin and a world class finisher in his prime (villa, eto or maybe mr owen)

Crouch off, fowler released and cisse to marseille permanent. Should get us 14m + save on fowler wages.

So, with the yanks money and money recouped then eto and villa are well in our sights.

Plus, its reported that dioufy is interesting atletico and if they pay the 10m big sam wants then that deal will be on and we have a sell on clause in there. 20% so thats 2m. Thats what im told off my friends at Bolton.

People on here that think Chelsea are gonna be capable of outbidding all competetors in the summer may be mistaken!

Its clear that all is not rosey and though we can't believe all we read in the papers its obvious that Abromovich has lost a bit of interest!
With all his billions,he is still a business man and did not buy Chelsea as a toy...he wanted to make profit.
For 2 years they have lost a lot of money..he seems to be getting a bit annoyed looking from the outside in!

He has not been at Stamford Bridge for 6 0r 7 games on the trot and also stayed away from the Carling Cup celebrations..where 90 Chelsea players and staff enjoyed a party.These 2 actions speak louder than words as far as im concerned!

Apparently hes been away on business for the last 8 weeks...that is bullsh.it.He hardly missed a game from he bought Chelsea until lately.Its clear to see all is not well

Im not saying they are gonna have NO money in the summer but what i do think is that Abromovich is becoming less interested and needs a different buzz....I dont think he'll spend anywhere near as much as he has done the last 2 seasons!

Maybe we wont need to worry about them outbidding us after all......We'll know soon enough!!

Owen is no longer in his prime. He's not worth considering any more, IMO. He actually wanted to come back to Anfield at the end of last season, before his world cup injury, but I don't think Rafa ever wanted him back after he walked out on us.

Time for us to move on and for Owen to reflect on the biggest mistake of his life.

Raffa did want him back Ade...The deal was nearly done and then the Barcodes came in and practically doubled our offer.

Raffa would have took him,just did'nt want to pay double his worth.In hindsight,th.ank fu.ck we did'nt get him,great as he was for us at a time..his injury record is horrible...He'll never be back to his best again!

I'm guessing you've figured out how someone can score goals when they are hardly on the pitch?

He's played 10 games of club football in two years. He's become Harry Kewell.

I wouldn't want that asshat back. He cheated us two times and that can never be undone.

Fowler is a true legend and Owen is not.

Why sign a player who 90 percent of the time will not play for you?

He'll back for Newcastle soon and on his debut he'll pull his hamstring. He's more prone to injuries every year than the previous.

I take your point mate, but mine is that Rafa didn't want him enough to cough up the same as Newcastle, despite Owen desperately wanting to come back.

I think, too, that Rafa may quietly have enjoyed waving him into his helicopter and wishing him all the best on the flight to Newcastle…

Owens a fantastic footballer with great intelligence and superb movement, always looking for runs to get in on goal, selfish but single minded.
His injuries have been really unfortunate in his career the latest one an absolute shocker.

BUT....what do we read in the papers this week ?

Owen i will play for England again this season...now to be fair i didnt read the full article where he might have talked about his desire to get fit for Newcastle (the people who pay his wages)
But even if he does, it is obvious to anyone that his priority is England.

If he could steer clear of injuries he would be a great signing for any side in the world and has about 5 years still, but thats a massive if, and he has probably burnt his bridges with too many fans here...sad that it is.

owen was finnished b4 he got injured  ???

owen wont come back hes had two chances with rafa he wont get a third, i believe either the signing of eto or villa would lift us to a new level along with alves lahm and robben we would have the best team in the world with the best manager and fans nobody could stop us. But unfortunately i cant see this happening i can see us signing 1 of them players 2 at the most

I mean before he broke his leg.  His first hamstring injury killed it.

Villa/Eto'o = £30m

Alves = £15m

Lahm = £15m

Robben = £20m

Your right is not going to happen.

Thank God.
