Eto'o in the summer?

I've got a funny feeling that the Chelsea silly money may be coming to an end. Abramovich seems to be losing interest, seems to resent it that Mourinho gets all the credit and wouldn't even let him buy that Bolton defender on a free in January.

I reckon next summer he'll only provide limited new cash and tell Mourinho to sell if he wants to spend. However if a new manager comes in Abramovich probably will get his chequebook out again.

I dont know if Roman himself is getting fed up with Chelsea or just with Mourinho but something is certainly going off there.

Another point regards Chelsea buying Eto'o or Villa is that they currently have Drogba and Shevchenko. Drogba is playing the very well and his goals are keeping them going. Shevchenko is Abramovichs good friend and is obviously the Chairmans first choice so therefore where would another superstar striker fit in?

Good point I know Chelsea will probably always try and get a player were interested in, but rafa is well aware of this and is very clever in doing business without anyone realising.

Liverpool are getting linked to eto more in the papers know because we have got a big game coming up against them as for Villa I have got a feeling we might see him soon in a Liverpool top, with the Liverpool causality being Bellamy getting soled.

I certainly can't agree on the point about Eto'o being a mercenary. He turned down many a club whilst at Mallorca and only moved on when it became apparent that Mallorca neeeded the money from his sale. Even them he didn't go to the highest bidder which we're led to believe was Real Madrid (the home in the sun of the footballing mercenary  :D ).
I aslo believe that eto'o wouldn't choose the chavs after he and Ronaldinho were allegedly on the receiving end of some racial abuse from some of their backroom staff. I know it was only ever alleged but tha did come from the players themselves and if they're still harbouring a grudge  over it then we can use that to our advantage.

For this transfer to come off i think it will take just more than money and in that respect we could have the upper hand. Rafa like the report says has got many contacts in spain to exploit plus he was at Madrid at the same time as Eto'o so he has the advantage of already having some sort of professional relationship with Eto'o that the other contenders don't have.

All I can say is that you can't believe any of the papers, according to all of them, Manchester United have signed Owen Hargreaves and Fernando Torres.

Also Chelsea have proved before that they are not afraid to bully anyone into joining them, i.e. John Obi Mikel.

the biggest spenders in the summer will be the scum imho
as they will need to replace grease ball ronaldo, and they will need a new scoles, giggs larson, van de sarr,

if anyone will be in for eto it will be that sh!te

personally i just don't want any more like voronin to turn up and i hope rafa carries on being shrewd in the market as it is shocking to see managers pay over the odds for players just because some fans want instant success look at curbs at west ham, upson 6-8 mill i don't think so

Etoo is very good, but then he has some cons. He cannot be rotated. Rijkaard had some troubles last season with him as the player publicly declared he didn't like to be rotated. He has that hunger, which can be a two sided sword, it's good in some sense, but bad in other way.

He's fast, he's a good finisher, but not a great finisher. Good signing? definitely. The best signing? I'm not so sure. Plus, it's going to be difficult to get him. The mirror hasn't got much credibility, have they?

As long as Ferguson is there, Ronaldo will stay. Scholes can still perform next season, Giggs can still play, although we will need a replacemt because he won't play that many games, We already have two other keepers and Van Der Saar can still perform next season.

We only really need a winger, central midfielder and maybe a striker. We also have a few good reserves coming through.

would eto'o actually be rotated though if he came? ok every player during the season has faced some rotation but rafa has shown that the core of players in reina, carragher, finnan, alonso, gerrard and kuyt will generally start most games when fit. eto'o surely would prove sooner or later that he deserves to be playing as much as these guys, which should keep any player happy. lets hope one of these high profile transfers pulls off as the rest of the teams around us are sure to spend big in the summer and there doesnt seem to be an abundance of players around judging by the voronin signing and trezeguet and iaquinta sp? links (hope voronin proves me wrong mind, he gets into dangerous positions, that much i know)

what you need is a different web site,

i know might wanna talk to people from the north west but not many on here will wanna hear what you have to say,

i'm not sure but i think scum fans have there own forum, and if your name is anything to go by you will be welcomed with open arms

Ok this might be going off subject talking about your club.
But i reckon Ronaldo will deffo be on his way. The amount of money being offered the board will not refuse...just my opinion.
Van der sar easily has another year, keepers can go on forever.
Giggs and Scholes might struggle a bit with the main runner leaving (Ronaldo) unless obviously he is replaced by someone equally pacy and hard working.

I would love to see Eto'o arrive at anfield in our colours, as for Robben i couldnt see him playing for us but if he did i wouldnt complain as long as he knocked the diving in the head.

I would rather slit my own throat than see Robben in the red of Liverpool.
