I don't think stevie g grabbed a spot. I think the spot grabbed him, obviously he is the top player in England right now.

Darrius Vassel is ****** id well have Jermaine DEfoe or Alam Smith instead off that brummie boy.

Am made up for Cara but I would off rather have him not go because lets face it hes not going to get a sniff really unless theres injuries. Pointless him being there is my oppinion anyway. He should be on some beach resting with the boys

Barry should be in there instead of Butt and Glen Johnson should be in there instead of Phillip Neville.

Defoe should be in there also ahead of Vassell.

Personally i hope Stevey, st Mick and JC all get a 2 week flu and miss the first round and England come home with nothing.

Butt's in on memory alone and its a shame Parker isn't there in his place. Nevilles a joke and with his brother so over rated. What is this selection ? The "Man U players are on their way out but lets give them a loyalty send off" or what !!!! I'd have liked to see 5 Strikers and 1 less Goalkeeper myself.

Defence is our weakness particulalry the keeper, the worst in a long time as far as ability and standards go ........

I don't!! I want us to go as far as possible.

I'm glad the team looks so poor on paper because my expectations have been lowered, that way when we get to the semi's I'll be well chuffed!!

I hope they go out in the first round.

The reason i said the flu is because there is because its less serious than muscle strains etc.

England don't deserve Owen, Gerrard and Carragher.

Englands team could and should be top class, but it won't unless the idiots at the top pick the best players available which isn't going to happen.

Ferdinand (Terry or Woodgates (injured) with Ferdinand being suspended).

Anything other than that 11 in a 4-4-2 (with maybe the expcetion of Neville in for Johnson) isn't worth playing and will not win anything.

Glen Johnson can't defend properly and is more attacking than defensive and as I saw during the beginning of trhe season was prone to being caught of position and lacks experience and Barry is an average player.

Gareth Barry has easily as much ability as Lampard.

He's also a left sided player and left footed.

Forget all this diamond ******, play a 4-4-2 with the best players in the positions and England would be laughing.

barry must be worth a shot and if he played for a more fashionable club he would walk in the england squad. he's played in a team who have excelled themselves this year but he continues to get overlooked. even alan thompson got a chance ahead of him.

is it me or is sven always watching the top 4-5 clubs and never the lesser ones?
