I'm glad that I'm not a moderator. I can see why the mods are having a bad time with all these :censored: here.

For me, a narrow win is enough. TNS is a good team and we treat this like a friendly match. Wonder why people happy to see more goals when the opponent is a cr@p team? ???  Keep the strength for next few weeks. Still a long way to go,lads.
Reds is the sacred colour before this world was born.

We beat them and we are through with no injuries and that's all that matters.Nobody was panicking when Wrexham scored three against us in a friendly and this was how the two legs have been played with only SG taking it more seriously. We can only beat what is in front of us and this is what we have done and hopefully everyone feels a bit sharper and fitter after it too for the games when we do have to play better.

Who care. Last year we even lost a qualifier but it didnt matter. its like Bolo Zenden said, were only at the 70% mark yet. They only just went back to pre season a few weeks ago so its only natural that they looked less than sharp. Most of the players were still quite sharp. I though Cisse, Alonso, Gerrard all looked nearly at their best. And Whitbread looked impressive to. PS: Does anyone have the goals from last nights match?

I've heard he is a "Legend" , a cult following like Jesus, with totally outspoken views in these forums? totally unrivalled in here, versus fellow posters new and old, and always has one over on the moderators, jonnymac, JBG and St. Michael!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact there should be a statue of him next to shanks outide the KOP, only 3 times the size!

Guess who's back! tell a freind!

:bowdown

Hustler, don't fuc*ing start bragging that you get 'one over' on the mods.  Post sensibly, or we'll see who wins your little 'war against the mods' shall we?

ok most of the time i am the first to have a go at the team...but not for this,
right now most of other first team players in the prem only come back from  holiday last wee, our team have had to come back for 2 must win games after only 6 weeks rest.
so far we have had 3 games and won all 3 and stuck in 9 goals.
we will be fit, we will be match ready , we will have more players.
we will get better

Bring on the season already ffs, then we'll have a decent discussion, not "if we score too little".

Utter bulls.hit !! I wonder what it would do for us to win by 2 digit score ??? Nilch !!

I said it already, wait for the real competition matches to start judging our team and the transfer moves Rafa made.

You must have sat in the Kemlyn then, its always like that.

It was full of kids, and lively as you would expect considering the opposition/competition/stage etc...

Hustler you are an idiot.

i can,t believe the topic starter is complaining, they did not have to get out of second gear for this tie,it,s still pre season and tns  did not warrant ultimate performance like  ie champions league final performance and concentration.the players were using this tie as a pre season friendly in both games, the time to make judgements is when the season starts and the players are in serious football mode.

You'll be watched like a hawk, Hustler.

You got another chance but you're wearing it thin already and if it comes down to it we'll keep banning you faster than you can think up of new usernames.

However, there's no need for that so behave.

the kemlyn was always louder than the main stand, take away the paddock from the main stand and the rest could have been watching international crown green bowling  :D

Alfonso Alonso 1 wrote:Nearly a 1-0 result versus the TNS. Stevie G, the driving force of the whole team does it near the end again.

the TNS players will go back to work tommorow, and read the back pages of the papers and laugh and joke with thier mates that they held us to modet scores! almost embarassingly modest!

Are we the European champions or not? Man Utd won 0-6 tonight, against a league side. and we cant even beat this cr*p by more than 3.  and we had a full team! we need to get it together and soon!

Im not joking we should be caning these teams at least by 5. if that had be Arsenal or chelsea it would have been!
only Zenden so far, is the notable signing in my book.never mind this excuse thats it early, its not as if these players have never played the game before!

Im not impressed one bit. need more reinforcements.

we've squandered many a chance in both legs,,,, so what happened to the class of Cisse Morientes and le tallec? on their 60k a week?
relying on Stevie, our midfielder, to bang in 5 is a joke, its the strikers job!

Also, saying the TNS keeper did well? Do me a favour! the guy is probably a full time butcher, and will be slicing pork chops for the rest of the week!..its comical.

mind you, that saviour, the world player of the year elect is about to save us..............step forward peter crouch!
