I cannot believe I am even replying to this utter crock of thread. I mean what is wrong with people. We beat a team 6-0 over 2 legs. A team who are playing out of their skins, and as someone mentioned, above themsleves. We are in pre season mode, mentally and physically not pushing ourselves at all, yet still we win by a land slide and people are whinging. When has pre season ever had any impact over a coming season? Cisse has scored goals, Morientes has scored goals, gerrard is on fire already, signings are settling in and looking OK, Zenden looks good and Sissoko looks class. More signings promised and still people are complaining......fu.ck me what is with these idiots? I am not one to get abusive normally but this is just pathetic. Having a go at our team in pre season? It's a joke.

Waste of thread. I've seen some dumb sh1t posted here, but Alfonso Alonso has broken all records and has talked so much sh1t that if you put all sh1t posted by ten members you would still not be able to match the sh1t that Alfonso Alonso has posted.

My point is, we missed many chances first leg, second leg too, and conisdering most of you in here rave about cisse and Morientes, they should be banging them in ,in these games.

Selling BAROS is a big joke , if you ask me, and Anthony Le tallec is an even bigger JOKE!.............

he squanders chances, poor control, and rafa fancies him! and kewell too it seems!

I will wait obviously, until the first 6 games or so of the Prem season  to give a more detailed criticism, esp. if baros has gone and we aint scoring!

Can't you understand that pre-season gmaes are for developing match fitness and sharpness and anyone who reads too much into performances in these games is a clown.
Selling baros is a joke      WHY- Because he scored 2 competitive goals in 4 months at the end of last season.
You cant complain about cisse based on his performance against tns. In the 1st leg, he came on and played out of position- NOT as a striker. Tonight he played up front and scored! As for morientes, he needs more training and when hes fit i'm confident he'll be bangin goals in for us!

We beat Welsh top team. Come on. Its a good result. But I agree we lack striking standard. At the same time, I notice that without Gerrard every one else is taking things easy. 1 goal in the 1st half. I cant bear to watch the match in the 1st half. No composition. Lack passing accuracy.
What is going on. No point just saying Liverpool is not a one man team, if the rest is taking a lackadasical attitude

You've totally contradicted yourself there, you say that sharpness or not we missed a lot of chances.  Its BECAUSE they're not sharp that the chances were missed, and it doesn't matter who the opposition are.

The one thing I do agree with you on is Le Tallec.  I have seen him enough times to confidently predict he won't make it at LFC.  I'm not just judging him on the last few games however, and to be honest I've never seen him play and come away thinking that I was really impressed.

Totally agree. I think Le Tallec reminds me a little of Cheyrou. Maybe his age has something to do with it. If he is in a lesser known team, he will play better. There are just too many established player here and Le Tallec simply just pass the ball to them without really doing something with the ball. But I think he must be doing something right at training or so. Otherwise, I don't think Rafa would play him as we have more options now. Hopefully, Le tallec can break out the shell and try not to be too uptight.
