Guess you'll all know that me posting means that Phil is not able too.  Over the last couple of weeks Phil had begun to fall alot and become very confused and anxious. We were hoping that this was due to a change in his medication but following a fall on Thursday from which I could not lift him I had to call for help and medical staff were not happy with his condition but did not wish to send him to A&E for compassionate reasons therefore the district nurse rang the local Douglas Macmillan hospice and he was admitted as an emergency.
Although we are awaiting results off his CT scan from Wednesday the Doctors are saying that Phil's condition shows signs that he may have only days left, he does have age on his side therefore his body may hold out for a while but he is so confused and restless that there is the danger that the pressure on his brain may cause a bleed/stroke resulting in death within a few hours. They are trying to keep him pain free and as calm as possible but he is so scared and keeps trying to get out off bed but this only results in him falling.  He is asking to come home and if this is possible I will do everything possible to fulfill his wishes but I will need more help and equipment for this to happen.  For  now I am trying to spend as much time with him as possible and will try to keep you updated.
He asked for his Liverpool shirt to be put on, on Saturday and a male nurse was delighted when he saw him cause he supports Liverpool too!  YNWA.

Thanks for all your suppport and I know your thoughts and prayers are with him, he as his laptop with him but he isnt really able to use it at the moment but I will try to convey his and your wishes.

Love to you all.

Hi Karen,

that post is very saddening, I can't imagine what you are going through. You truly are a great person, and from what I can tell from his posts you mean the world to Phil and I am so sorry for the both of you going through this. I hope Phil keeps fighting on, you're both an inspiration to us all. :)

Best wishes from Sydney.
