I read the other day that you planned to do some legal stuff against them. I don't know up there but here the medical staff are super corporativist (not sure if this is english, means that they defend each other hiding their mistakes eachother).

But if they have apologised I guess that means that they actually ADMIT that they were negligent? Apologises won't pay the many costs of the all class of treatment you've received, so perhaps to sue them via legal courts way is a good idea.

hi Sabre mate its the  same here.More internal investigations are being done at the hospital and eventually i will get a written report from them.I will decide with the help of icas whether to take it legal then, but everyone knows officially i have only 6 months to live.It could well be left for Karen to deal with.

As others have pointed out Phil, it's all very humbling reading about what you have to go through, we whinge and moan about the most trivial things and your plight brings it all into perspective, keep strong mate... love to you and those around you

Great picture Phil and your sig sums it up, had a tear in my eye when I first read it.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

God bless you, karen and the kids

i remember my uncle breaking his jaw in a fight and it had to be wired, he did put a roast dinner in the blender and ate it, he did it in fact with all his meals so it is possible mate.

probably the most important thing is the protein and vitimins rather than the taste mate

phil: i can give you 2 food ideas. now this may be a north american term but its french so if you can handle that -- i once had a superb goose liver mousse -- its like pate but lighter-- its smooth tastes great and can be gummed(haha)it comes in various types(salmon, goose liver, duck liver etc) but gives vitamins, protien,fat-- and it tastes good.

another is fresh goat cheese-- verrrry soft and tastes great -- it just oozes

i love food and have the body to show for it-- i feel for ya-- maybe these will help
