we are all thinking of you.   ynwa
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

mrsDrummerphil wrote:Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a good Bank Holiday, just a quick line to let you know how Phil is doing.

He has been very sleepy and is so desparate to come home. A couple of issues about having no mobility are really starting to get to him and seems quite determined to try and get out of bed to go to the loo at least!  No radiotherapy at weekends or bank holidays so will start again today and as far as we know will have them upto 8th June  and then plans should kick in to get him home.   Trying to declutter the house at the moment and decorate the bedroom for him.

He started a posting the other day and when he has finished it I will post it for him, but he is very tired and it is taking him a while to complete.

Love to you all.

Karen x

Sounds encouraging, Karen.

Thanks for your posts.

Just remember everyone is behind you, supporting you and Phil.

You are not in this alone and all our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Come on Phil, we all need you back on here. We are all behind you and Karen and the kids 110% You already know that anyway. I have heard some top rumours lately only posted the one Torres to join for 15m. But once again looks like i'm wrong. Nevermind will eventually nail a few. Chelsea must be kacking there load we are on their tales, as they are once again using Roman's Billions to buy the league.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that Jose Mor is finding us a major threat to his team and knows we are out to take the mantle. This being he is buying world class players for top money to keep us at arms lenghth. But as we all know money can't buy you everything.

Anyway phil keep on fighting!! We are all missing you big time you are one amazing guy, Along with your Family we are all there for you.....Y.N.W.A............

Hi Everyone,

Cancer consultant is very pleased with Phil's response to treatment, cancer is now half the size it was and they are reducing some of his medications.  Only got 4 radiotherapy treatments left then its all steam ahead to get him home and back posting to you lovely people.

Consultant still stands by his original 6 to 12 months but Phil's great response to the treatment could give him longer and hopefully a better quality of life.  Even if the cancer is no longer showing on scans the consultant informs us that it will still be there but Phil has been given a second chance for now, all depends on what pace the bas***d cancer grows back and if it appears elsewhere in his body, but for now we rejoice and look forward to living each day as it comes and hopefully sharing good times and bad with you all.

Thanks for everything you are all my rock.

Deepest regards.

Karen x

thats great news, absolutely brilliant.!!
they say (or more accurately chairman mao did) that journeys of a thousand miles start with one small step, well that sounds more like a giant stride than a small step.
