At least we don't have to worry about the side effects of the treatment stopping him from whatching the match. Although having said that he is in such a state mentally they have had to sedate him today in an attempt to calm him down so they can do the radiotherapy. He needs to stay focused and positive on his radiotherapy but his mind keeps drifting to all sorts of issues from his childhood to present day issues like having no internet! Been a struggle to keep him on track and this afternoon after they gave him the medication I saw him sleep for the first time in ages but he was "tripping" and rambling quite badly. I just hope he is aware enough to whatch the match, we have several people recording it just in case he misses the winning goals. Before I left this evening I had to hang up his Liverpool shirts around the room and he is going to wear his 1974 FA Cup Final shirt "just in case anyone should pop in to see him".
Hope you all enjoy the game and my best wishes and prayers are with you as yours have been with us.
