More evidence today that he's not good enough. The amount of crosses he overhit, the amount of times he dithered in possession when he could have driven into space and tried to cross, the amount of times he failed to give the ball back to Riera with the Spaniard running into space etc. was frustrating. I can't see how he's ever going to improve enough to make the grade for us, I really can't.

I cant believe he cost 8Million. Udinese must be laughing their socks off. We could have got Corluka for the same amount.

I thought he was solid enough today, not more.

His poor passing has let him down alot lately. The only positive thing about him is that he has nice piece of skill by faking a shot or dribbling past players , but other than that...

I remember Mark Gonzales had the tag of "best player in Chile". Sounded promising at the time. I think from now on we should get our scouts to scout Arsenals scouts and gazump those players!!!

We need new scouts, becuase who ever recomended Dossena wants shooting, seriously how can this guy be anywhere near the Italy team, he can't cross the ball at all.

Lescott was rafas first choice but Moyes wouldnt let him leave, he begged him aswell he wanted to play for us.

Thats why he has been sh!te so far for them this season.

What do you guys think of Agger as a LB ? Think he could very easily become our best LB ..similar to how gerrard is our best RW...as they don;t have too much competition for that role here.

Agger could be the next maldini..... :cool:

Yeah but it would take a manager with imagination to try something like that, for all that Rafa has vision and imagination is not one of his qualities! :sniffle

Golly gosh, I'm almost certain that one of the biggest criticisms of Rafael is his tendency to play people out of their favoured positions...
