Don't moan ? - Guess who gh is blaming ?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

In Summary :
a)Don't moan, we have won.
b)Angry with the linesman for not givin penalty.
c)The quote for the season "Referees get managers the sack"

It seems that GH has gone senile. I know, now is not the time to critise GH. But from the info, i get, we did not create much chances in the match. And this is against wolves...at home.

GH is blaming eveyone except himself. ........

Can anyone tell me how did heskey, murphy and biscan played today ?

Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier believes that despite a fairly lacklustre performance during today’s 1-0 victory over Wolves, his side deserved to walk away with the three points.

A Sami Hyypia header in the ninetieth minute saw Liverpool edge past the visitors at Anfield with the only goal of the game. Chances throughout the match were rare, though Houllier argues his side could have been awarded a penalty in the first half.

He says, "Don't moan we won because sometimes we have played well and got nothing out of this game. We deserved to win this game because we kept going and didn't give up.

"It was difficult conditions and if we had scored early on it would have been a different game. It was a deserved three points and the conditions with a strong wind didn't help. We showed character and commitment and fully deserved the goal.

"Don't ask me about the penalty as I will get very, very angry! How can the linesman not say it wasn't a penalty. He and the referee were too far away and it was a blatant penalty. Emile Heskey was injured from it and spent the rest of the first half limping.

"Referees get managers the sack, how many penalties have we not been given this season which were blatant ones."

We made it hard for ourselves against wolves to-day, they defended well, it took us all of 92 minutes to break them down, we never looked like winning this game, but its never over untill the fat lady sings!!...lots of fans had given up hope, and left with 5 mins to go, but the true supporters remained and like myself witnessed the victory.  :)

A win is a win and three points is what we needed. I don't expect quality football from a club with no confidence. Good football will come after confidence is restored and wins no matter how they happen are the  way to regain the lost confidence.

Said the word Confidence a lot i know but it is so important in football.

I wasn't at the game - I listened to it + watched it on web-cam on the internet (don't try this - it leaves you feeling very sick and dizzy) It didn't look or sound like we played particularly well and Stevie was back to carrying the team on his shoulders once again. Had it not been for the last minute goal then i'm sure we could all start laying into GH again. But we did win and it was all the sweeter because it came so late. I still think Le Boss is going crazy (more nuerotic post match paranioa) but i don't think we should be laying into him after a win.

Save it for the next loss  ???

wolves were really desperate to stay in the premiership and gave the game everything they had; it's always going to be harder against a team backed into a corner. We still won though, at least.
