Never came across him in my 5 years in Liverpool thankfully but I remember the name. None of my crowd knew who or what the hell "purple aki" was, just that he was one of Liverpool's famous loons. My favourite was Porky, used to sit outside KFC on Renshaw Street and laugh at all the buses and scrounge yer chips at night
