As it stands now not a chance. Our team has got much better these past 5 years, the problem is that the teams around us has got better and some are improving rapidly, something we are not doing right now at all. Unless we get new owners willing to spend(any) money it won't matter which manager we have. We have spent Spurs like money for so long time now and been punching above our weight and that just will never be enough.

Imo we have 4 quality players that could be in a winning side and that is not enough.
We think just cause we spent 20 million on Torres we are keeping in tough but how many teams in the PL haven't spent just as much or more on players?

Right now we should be more concerned looking down than up if this "buy only after you sell" is the way in the future. Then it will only be a question of when, not if, Man City goes past us.

Selling Masch for 25 million and buying players for 25 will get us fighting for 4th next season again.

But as usual Rafa will get fried for having 25 million to spend in the summer always forgetting the fact he has sold players to be able to buy.

i believe if we had a fully fit squad throughout this campaign we would be in the top 2 with every chance of winning it.
we have embarked on a solid run of late with signs of clear improvement.we are not a squad with an abundance of quality but together they are a good team and capable of winning the prem.
stevie is clawing back some form and was brill against the bitters.his touch and ball striking was the best it has been this season.with johnson soon to return followed by benni and nando will give us the quality we need to push on and finish the season on a high and in no doubt a better position than 4th with a european trophy to boot!!
chelsea are a strong squad this year and imo the best equipped.if shrek gets injured the manks are fooked. arsenal are full of quality but are in the midst of a bad run and a loss to us tomorrow will open it up for a challenge on 3rd.
the manks and chelsea will lose games and if we win all 'from now till may we will be right in there.

Yes but if Manure had a fully squad, if Chavs had a fully fit squad, if Arsenal etc etc etc, come on you can do better than that can't you. The problem is that we don't have a GOOD enough squad and it's more than just down to money although that is a big factor.
