Do any of you know..... - What michael owen is doing tonight?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Is he going to be in his expensive house in Madrid with his medals from this season, watching tonight's game?

His main reason for leaving LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB was to win that trophy, mmmm what was it called?

Hmmmmm. Could any of you please help me? My mind is still buzzing from anticipation of the match we have tonight.  :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock

Even if Real Madrid had qualified for the CL final, Owen would NOT be starting the game as thye have this policy of Raul and Ronaldo MUST PLAY/START all of the time.

Too bad, Owen, you chose to go... :D

I think that a Spaniard has to be captain for every game, and if you are (not a veteran and) not of Latin descent, you are just hired labor.

Wise move for Senor Owen.

It is not just any Spainaird, it has to be the local favourite - Raul. This guy Raul has to play, no matter what kind of form he is in, he has become much too big in his head that he can get his coaches fired.

I liked Owen because he manages to score hatfuls for us even when Houllier played the dreaded dour football style. It was a shame he left without giving Benithez a chance, and the way it was reported, it was him seeking the move and not the case of being pushed out.

Hope he harbours us no ill feelings and cheer us on to win and thinkning "what if I had stayed..."

I know the answer - he would score plenty and we would not have had to play Baros and watch him miss so many chances or making good passes because he sees too much of the grass with his always looking down playing style!

He'll be a bit envious but will wish his mates JC and SG all the best.

I wish Owen success in Spain, he carried us for many years.

Banana, I love what you bring to this forum.

Keep up the good work mate.

When you get your thumb out of your ar$e, you should put it in your mouth and mimic Luis Garcia.

And Banana, what did they rate your pic on Fugly.com?
